INTERVIEW: Headmaster discusses origins and influences alongside new project ‘Seasons Vol.1 (AlKiNoFi) [Summer]’

From North Wales to London’s thriving music scene, Headmaster has always walked the line between dedication and ambition. Now, the songwriter and producer steps into a bold new era with ‘Seasons Vol. 1: Summer’, the first instalment of an ambitious four-part tetralogy exploring the cycles of life, emotion, and transformation.

Teaming up with co-producer The Wizard, he channels indie rock and synth-pop into sleek, sun-soaked grooves that capture the warmth, energy, and light of long summer days. Alongside his role as CEO and Executive Headteacher Designate of the Hertswood Academy Trust, Headmaster is proving that music can be both deeply personal and purpose-driven, raising awareness and funds for mental and physical health charities while carving out a sound that is vibrant, dynamic, and true to his artistic vision.

So we sat down with him to find out more about the origins and influences that have inspired his sound over the years.
