Jack Grisham shares reflective new single ‘Pain Goes Around’ ahead of debut album
Former T.S.O.L. frontman Jack Grisham has unveiled ‘Pain Goes Around’, the latest single from the forthcoming self-titled debut album by Jack Grisham and the Life Undone, due for release on 2 October. The track offers another glimpse into a project that finds the punk icon exploring new musical territory while remaining rooted in the emotional honesty that has defined his career.
Blending melodic alternative rock with touches of classic pop and doo-wop harmonies, ‘Pain Goes Around’ reflects on sobriety, self-acceptance and the ongoing process of personal growth. Rather than searching for easy answers, the song embraces emotional vulnerability, pairing thoughtful lyricism with an uplifting, hook-filled arrangement.
The project began after Grisham connected with German musician Lars Triesch, leading to a creative partnership that produced a collection of songs spanning alt-rock, Britpop and acoustic influences. Recorded between Germany and Los Angeles with a team of longtime collaborators, the album marks Grisham’s return to music following years focused on writing novels and filmmaking.
