10. What’s a Guy Gotta Do (Revelation, 2004)
“Whats A Guy Gotta Do”. That is the third best song on the album, but what spurred me to buy it in the first place was the realization that the title tune “Revelation” was indeed a cover of one of my all-time favorite Waylon Jennings gospel songs. (although theeditorial review by amazon.com calls it “obscure”, I’ve been listening to it all my life) Nichols gives an impressive voice tyo the lyrics and proves to make the song as haunting as Jennings version.”
9. She Only Smokes When She Drinks (Man with a Memory, 2002)
“About a guy thinking he’s about to get it on with a girl, but “she only smokes when she drinks”. It’s a slow ballad you can listen to, but why would you want to?”
8. I’ll Wait for You (III, 2005)
“”I’ll Wait For You” is perhaps the most touching ballad I’ve heard for a while, country, pop, rock, reggae, or whatever it be. Nichols sounds fantastic here and the song makes you just want to burst into tears. I took the risk of buying the whole album because I loved “I’ll Wait For You”. “
7. If Nobody Believed in You (Revelation, 2004)
“Joe’s Christian faith is very evident in this album. This is a very nice collection. “If Nobody Believed in You” is a powerful, heartfelt piece.” If Nobody Believed in You” pays homage to the power of endearing love cumulating to a hortatory final verse referencing God’s care during tough times.”

6. Gimme that Girl (Old Things New, 2009)
“Over the years, Joe Nichols has carved for himself a niche. While many country artists think that traditional side of the genre is immiscible with the more polish modern sounds, Nichols has found a way to astride both sounds.”
5. Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off (III, 2005)
“Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” is the number that drove many buyers to Nichols’s new album. It is definitely fun and sort of “raw” in a tasteful way. Most amazing may be Nichols’s reference to “patron” in a country song! You’d expect to hear references to patron in a hip-hop/rap number, but a country track? That’s innovation right there! One trend within III is that the best tracks tend to be the ones that are a bit riskier such as “Size Matters” and of course the rediculous, but credible “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off”.”
4. The Impossible (Man with a Memory, 2002)
“Man With A Memory”, the last track, is so sonically perfect. He just gives us so much with the lyrics and the messages he delivers. He touched my heart, and I’m sure he will touch yours too. Buy this CD…trust me, you WILL NOT regret it.”

3. Brokenheartsville (Man with a Memory, 2002)
“The song that first really caught my attention on this cd was “Brokenheartsville,” but I love all the songs on this cd. I am a very picky listener, and if I don’t like one song on a cd, I don’t listen to it very often. However, I could listen to this cd over and over without getting tired. Joe has something that many artists don’t.”
2. Sunny and 75 (Crickets, 2013)
“The lead single is a very radio friendly song ‘Sunny and 75’ and is the best single Joe has done in years. But there are many other good songs on the album so hopefully there will be a few more hits.”
1. Yeah (Crickets, 2013)
“Joe Nichols is a great artist and this cd is full of fantastic songs! I’ve loved him from the first cd he put out…………..he’s very talented and always enjoyable to listen to.”
