Kaskade Albums Ranked
Ryan Gary Raddon (born February 25, 1971), better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ, record producer, and remixer. DJ Times voted Kaskade “America’s Best DJ” in 2011 and 2013. DJ Mag named Kaskade fifty-first on its 2009 list of Top 100 DJs. In 1995, Raddon began DJing his first monthly Monday night party at a basement venue called Club Manhattan. He used this additional income to purchase studio essentials. In May 2000, Raddon moved to San Francisco with his wife where he got a job working as an A&R assistant to John Elkins at Om Records, a house and electronic label. To Raddon’s benefit, San Francisco was an emerging site of a new deep house movement. While at OM records he continued DJing and producing music. Soon after, Raddon created his alter ego, Kaskade, which his wife worried would remind people of the dish detergent. He took his stage name from a nature book when he saw a picture of a waterfall and a co-worker agreed “cascade” was a good choice, but he then changed the spelling. He did not take his name from the Cascade Range in the Pacific Northwest as fans sometimes cite. Here are all of Kaskade’s albums ranked.

10. Redux 003 (2019)
“Stunning — an epic 18 track LP after the first 2 in the Redux series were just EP’s. And 16 of the tracks are all amazing! That’s being conservative! It’s great to see RGR (Kaskade’s) return to the vocal house, stylistically. Excellently crafted and produced. Some really fun surprises, like The Diner, that non-millennial fans will surely appreciate!”
9. Here & Now (2006)
“This is a great introduction to a mellower side of Kaskade for fans that who are only familiar with his current works. For older fans who have been there since the beginning, there really isn’t anything new here other than the same deep, jazzy house that was featured on Kaskade’s older albums but Samba Love is consolation enough.”
8. Atmosphere (2013)
“I’ve been following his music for a while and listening to this was quite a difference. For all those who have listened to his songs on this album through the recent concerts or live recordings, expect a more relaxed version. It’s as if the versions he performed on stage were the Fire mix and this album is filled with the Ice mix. Not many drops on this album and they’re more of a deep house sound. Atmosphere, the title track, stands out the most towards being progressive house. It truly is music for atmosphere, the tracks are pretty laid back.”

7. In The Moment (2004)

6. It’s You, It’s Me (2003)
“Sweet, soulful sounds. A surprise. A small package bearing a familiar name. Contents: A sheet of paper. An unfamiliar CD. “It’s You, It’s Me” is Kaskade’s first release in his three album deal with Om Records, though deep house lovers have been grooving to his productions and mixes for many years. Organic and deep without loosing himself, for this album Kaskade worked with three vocalists who’s range of R&B, soul and house influences are the perfect complement for Kaskade’s layered soundscapes.”
5. Love Mysterious (2006)
“Kaskade is a master of creating a “mood” with his music. It’s very sexy and dance-able. Good R&B/house feel to it without ever feeling cheesey or corny. He always knows how to mix up the vocals – balancing out girl vocals vs. boy vocals. This album keeps his consistent track record going, except that it’s maybe a little louder/more upbeat than his previous albums.”

4. Strobelite Seduction (2008)
“I just love this CD. This is smoothness personified, just great house music with heavenly vocals and top notch production. I love mixing in songs from this album when DJing. A classic from Kaskade (start to finish you don’t skip a song on this journey.”
3. The Calm (2006)
2. Dynasty (2010)
“KASKADE’s 6th studio album does not dissappoint. As an avid fan of his music, both old and new, I find Dynasty as his strongest effort and the most well rounded of his albums with the exception of Fire and Ice. Its rare that I find an album from any artist where I enjoy every single track on the CD but Dynasty is definitely a must have if you’ve ever considered yourself a fan of House or EDM music. EXCELLENT.”

1. Fire & Ice (2011)
“This album is proof that Kaskade knows how to evolve with his music and still is able to make it sound so good. He never runs out of ideas for melodies and unique, original sounds and genres.
Each song on this album is a hit. What’s better if you’re on a long car ride, after you finish the fire side, you can just pop in the ice cd. It was a great idea. Every song is filled with love, passion, and flavor. This deserves to sell millions. It’s the first kaskade album where every song is a hit. I have complete faith that he’ll keep delivering even better stuff.”
