8. Ride (KNK AIRLINE, 2020)

“This has a lot of energy. The underlying song is essentially basic boy band song, but it doesn’t have many energy killers in it. It just hurries through the unnecessary 2nd verse rap and softer bridge without slowing down much.”

7. Sunset (KNK S/S Collection, 2019)

“The song is truly hypnotic. Someone is going to listen to it on repeat and get lost for a few hours or days while working studying reading playing candy crush. Not going to be me, but I don’t blame anyone else who does.”

6. Lonely Night (LONELY NIGHT, 2019)

“After a muted instrumental opening, Lonely Night launches into its rap-driven verse. There are way too many vocal effects slathered over the top, giving these segments a warped, echoey sound that’s trendy but ineffective.”

5. Rain (Gravity, Completed, 2017)

Rain sounds quite a bit like a Highlight b-side, painting an emotive melody over a moody instrumental. This time around, the violin has been traded for a synthesized saxophone, but the basic structure and vibe is almost identical.

4. Sun, Moon, Star (Gravity, Completed, 2017)

“I can definitely hear the influence of highlight/beast in this song. I’m so proud of KNK, their style of music has always been nostalgic to me as it reminds me of 2009-2012 kpop. I hope they continue to prosper and make amazing music.”

3. U (Remain, 2016)

“Throughout U‘s running time, I kept waiting for it to explode. Unfortunately, the track just wasn’t built for that. There are moments where potential peaks through, but each segment rushes by too fast to feel as if it’s actually connected to what comes before and after.”

2. Back Again (Awake, 2016)

“This song is not really my type of music to listen to, but I will say the vocals and the rap lines to the song are really nice. I honestly think the whole MV is great in itself, keep it up KNK fighting”

1. Knock (Knock 2016)

“Really liked their debut song. Just my personal opinion, I prefered this kind of genre for them. For me, this still remains to be their best song. This doesn’t even sound like a debut song. When I learned it was their debut song, it was insane. I’ve loved this song for a while and omg everything about it is so great- the lyrics, the song, the dance, the everything- just everything.”
