10. Drama (Drama, 2015)

“9muses really deserves more attention and popularity. All the hard work they do and all the loss of past members and gaining current members they still come out with amazing music and never disappoint”

9. Dolls (Dolls, 2013)

“Such an underrated group, they have really good music, and imo, one of the best discographies in kpop. I really like songs like theirs, but unfortunately it’s really hard to find groups that have similar music”

8. Sleepless Night (LOST, 2015)

“This was such a masterpiece, both song and video. I keep going back to it.. it’s so sad the majority of kpop fans don’t appreciate this kind of music style”

7. Glue (Glue, 2013)

“Their choreography especially the position changes is the best of all girl groups. It’s not necessarily about the power or sharp movements but the fluidity that they added to their choreographies and the brilliant change of the positions is like no others.”

6. Gun (Prima Donna, 2013)

“The thing I love the most about 9Muses is how well they pull of the sexy concept. It’s still a sexy concept but it’s so different from a lot of the groups out there. There’s almost an old school classiness to it, and I think that’s what makes them stand out. “

5. News (Sweet Rendezvous, 2012)

“It’s almost unbelievable what kind of music these girls made in 2012-2013. Super models with a fantastic voice, can create an unconscious mood. I don’t hear or see anything like that today either. They were decades ahead of their time.”

4. Ticket (Sweet Rendezvous, 2012)

“If Nine Muses were only in a prestigious agency for sure they could’ve gone bigger..I must admit they are one of the most underrated girl groups before, they produced a lot of super dope music, they have great visuals and since No Playboy they have evolved to a well rounded talented individuals.”

3. Wild (Wild, 2013)

“One of the most iconic kpop song in the history. 9muses is indeed a bop machine. although they’ve already stopped promoting, i hope more people will be discovering their forever bops”

2. Figaro (Sweet Rendezvous, 2012)

“This song is so good because there is no rapping, I wish more of their songs and kpop in general would get rid of forced rap breaks. Everytime I listen to this song I feel like I’m a classy baddass idol and I’m ready to kill it on stage or a runway.”

1. Hurt Locker (9Muses S/S Edition, 2015)

“Ironically, Nine Muses’ best single doesn’t come from Sweetune, but sounds almost like it could have. Released after the group’s commercial prime, Hurt Locker was crushed under the weight of competing girl group releases by bigger names. It’s unfair, because the commanding synth beat and tunnel of vocals that make up Hurt Locker‘s transcendent dance-pop hook deserve all the praise and recognition they can get. It’s a perfect representation of what this genre should strive to be, and a vital jolt of energy.”
