3. Muse on Music

“It’s in a high quality hard paper box with shimmering gold detailing. It came in a package with 3 the extra little cards attached, which was actually a really nice surprise… I liked how it was their debut photos. You may not receive it though as it came in a protective wrap that was outside the shrink wrap. The rest can be seen in the promotion photos! I’ve been following the group since the start and I absolutely adore the music they put out. Their live performances are some of the cleanest.”

2. Girls’ Invasion

“First half significantly better than the second but it’s all pretty solid. And man are those first 5 tracks good, had me bouncing around my living room before 9 AM on a Sunday morning. Good stuff.”

1. R U Ready?

“Lovelyz is a cute, innocent K-pop group, with no pretenses to be anything else. It’s super easy to just slap on high pitched voices on generic tracks and try to come off as cute (cough), but I think Lovelyz does an amazing job to sell the aesthetic in various ways. The cute wholesome melodies that carry these songs, the little Bitpop touches, and the adorable adlibs that come in occasionally, all of them work to make a surprisingly refreshing sound. Not to mention, on the production side of things, the producers make sure to keep things engaging by introducing new sound effects and melodies, without losing any of the catchiness.”
