10. Chain (Chain, 2018)
“Honestly, this song can mean many things and there isn’t really a perfect story behind it, because it’s so diverse. One story that I see it representing is connecting your chain to everything else in the world. Saying everything connects together. Another representation is where you break your old chain and escape from it. It’s such a nice song because to me it represents that you can break your family chain and fly away. You can do whatever you wish.”
9. 0 Mile (Cherry Bomb, 2017)
“To me, 0 Mile creates a good story and one we can all relate to. The story I believe it tells is someone chasing after their crush and how they are getting closer to becoming an item. It’s a good song that can get you hyped up, but the story is the best part. The story of this song is amazing because we can all relate to it. We’ve all wanted to get closer to our crush and when we do and get closer it’s hard to describe why we understand certain things about them. This song describes it all!”
8. Back 2 U (AM 01:27) (NEO CITY : SEOUL – The Origin (Live), 2019)
“Back 2 U kind of resembles 90s American Boy bands and seems that maybe it was inspired by that. It’s a moment of falsetto beauty. With what sounds like inspiration from the 90s it brings a modern take to it and the vocals are so soft it’s enchanting. Back 2 U tells a story much like “Baby Don’t Like It” but the chorus in this song I feel is carried more. The song expresses a person that is conflicted about whether or not they should go back to their lover, because something must have happened, but they know they shouldn’t go back.”

7. Baby Don’t Like It (NEO CITY : SEOUL – The Origin (Live), 2019)
“The song is catchy and the soft tune to it will get stuck in your head for days. It’s a bop. The lyrics cover an interesting topic, cheating, and takes it on a perspective that we haven’t seen, at this point when the song was released, from NCT. The story is interesting as well, even with the questioning lyrics, but it’s still catchy and great to listen to.”
6. TOUCH (Awaken, 2019)
“Touch is lighthearted and the vocals are soft, enough to make your heart warm. This was the song that showed their change from their dark concepts, into one lighter. Even the aesthetics of the clothes they wear fit the backgrounds and the pale shades, and it looks so good! The line distribution was also equal to every member in this song, which is the best part.”
5. Simon Says (Regular-Irregular, 2018)
“Simone Says is a real vibe setter. The message it sends about ignoring society and be true to yourself are spectacular. The representation of the masks in the beginning and leaving them on the floor at the end is the real kicker for the message.”

4. Regular (Regular-Irregular, 2018)
“Regular with the Korean or English version is amazing! The flow of the song is incredible and the transitions in the music video are flawless. Even some of the action filed scenes, like Taeyong jumping through the glass window, were incredible. Regular brings us into the world of NCT127, whether it’s what they have in reality or what they want in life. We are taken into a different reality. It’s offering something new but at the same time keeps the same vibe between both English and Korean.”
3. Superhuman (Superhuman, 2019)
“Superhuman is a powerful song. The music makes you want to bring ‘The Robot’ into modern dance. And the vocals with Mark, Johnny, Haechan, and Taeil are amazing. Haechan and Taeil’s long notes sync together and when Johnny and Mark sing together close to the end it’s a creative way to carry the next few notes to the high notes of Taeil/Haechan.”
2. Highway to Heaven (We Are Superhuman, 2019)
“Highway to Heaven is so lighthearted, and beautiful. Even the music video is beautiful to a ‘T’! All the member’s dance routines are in sync and it’s such a fun song that makes you want to drive a long distance and turn the radio up. The song is so fun in the music video that the members are smiling and playing around.”
1. gimme gimme (LOVEHOLIC, 2021)
“Not gonna lie this song is the bomb. Everyone has more than one line in this song and it’s amazing that Yuta is more vocal and with a different look. This song is just amazing, in itself. It’s a powerful song that stays in your mind all day. And the title is so simple yet, it describes the entire song as a whole.”
