2. Deja vu (Deja vu, 2021)
“The bedroom and indie pop elements in this song by the dreamy guitar line at the start sounds so smooth and clear and the buzzing electronic sound with the rumbling drum beat is really unique because it does not really follow a traditional structure or melody, and it does not rely on a radio friendly sound, which is a really good refresher in contrast to the general mainstream pop songs. However, the rumbling drum beat with the buzzing electronic instrumental sounds a bit chaotic and all over the place.”
1. Drivers License (Drivers License, 2021)
“The premise of the song is pretty common and generic, but this song is still pretty nice with a nice soft performance, the main thing about it that I like is the lyrics, they aren’t anything crazy or groundbreaking but the content in them I can understand and relate to as a recent high school grad, this song isn’t unique, but overcomes that to still be meaningful to a good amount of people currently”
