5. Made In The A.M. (2015)

“The songs are beautifully arranged and diverse in terms of sounds and styles, taking influences from various musical eras and artists. Overall, I would say this is a satisfying album; one that sounds quite mature and teases with the possibilities of what a more adult One Direction could bring to the table if they were to come back from their hiatus in the future.”

4. Four (2014)

” The great tunes, featured, make up for the somewhat lackluster ones. NIGHT CHANGES is my favorite song on the album, a beautiful & haunting masterpiece. The topic is simple, but so relatable & tender. The lyrics & vocals are fantastic. Also – GIRL ALMIGHTY, WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO, SPACES, READY TO RUN & CLOUDS are all well-written, fantastic tracks. Boy bands have never been my thing, but these guys have such genuine talent. I look forward to hearing their next release, and to seeing which direction of style (no pun intended!), they go with that one. FOUR’s musical style is a little more sophisticated than their previous work – there are whispers of Train, Mumford & Sons, Phillip Phillips & even The Beach Boys. Splendid Album!”

3. Midnight Memories (2013)

“With catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics you can’t help but close your eyes and just listen. My favorites on this album are “Through The Dark”, “Better Than Words”, “Something Great”, and “Strong”, with “Happily” right up there as well. It’s hard to choose because they are all so good and so different. I love the rock influence of “Midnight Memories”, and the humble honesty of “Don’t Forget Where You Belong”. The fact that the boys were so heavily involved in the song writing on this album makes it all the more amazing and worth owning. Even if you don’t consider yourself a One Direction Fan; you will love this album.”

2. Up All Night (2011)

“Their lyrics are so positive and full of life. Yes, they are very full of life, too. I don’t believe any of them are under the age of twenty – they have the world at their feet, and you can hear it in the guitar riffs, heartfelt declarations of love and wistfulness, and the production is so good!”

1. Take Me Home (2012)

“The Take Me Home album has great sound, featuring the boys sounding better than ever. The album includes many different aspects of music, and One Direction make each and every song sound absolutely amazing and it’s an album that you won’t get tired of listening to.”
