20. Drag Me Down (Made in the A.M., 2015)
“I really do think Drag Me Down is a great pump-up song. It came out right after Zayn left the band, and it made people take them seriously again. It has become quite a hit with its classic repeated lyrics. No other 1D album has a song quite like Drag Me Down”
19. Nobody Compares (Take Me Home, 2012)
“I love the music of it in the song when it starts saying, “Cause no one ever looks so good in a dress, and it hurts, cause I know you won’t be mine tonight” awesome. I could replay it over and over again.”
18. Stockholm Syndrome (Four, 2014)
“This song is literally my favorite song in the entire world. In front of every other song I’ve listened to. Stockholm needs to be up in the top ten cause it is just amazing. The lyrics are winded together so well and the beat is so different and cool. “
17. Forever Young (Forever Young, 2011)
“I love this song. It is so amazing and even though that it is a redone version of a song, it is still the best song ever. It completely describes how you feel when you think about growing old. And how much you want to just stay young forever. I love this song. And if you don’t… Like go search it up on YouTube or something. It is a phenomenal song.”

“This is one of those songs when it starts playing you can’t resist drop what you are doing and sing along I love this song and it’s my personal favorite from the album Midnight Memories.”
14. Gotta Be You (Up All Night, 2011)
“This song is by far my favorite! Harry can go so high in this song and it just makes me so happy to listen to it! It just has an empowerment to it when the chorus starts. I could listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it… But, I am like that with all of their songs!”
13. You & I (Midnight Memories, 2013)
“. I love Zayn’s high note and the way Harry sings his part. All of the boys have so beautiful voices in this song. It’s one of their best songs. Wonderful meaning to the fans and also sure favorable to people outside the fandom”
12. Rock Me (Take Me Home, 2012)
“I like the fact that they have taken an original and well known song and turned it into something amazing! I think this song deserves to be 1st! The lyrics are amazing and Louis is given enough solos whereas in other songs I think he maybe doesn’t get his fair share.”
11. More Than This (Up All Night, 2011)
“I love Harry’s part in this (: I love all the parts actually, but I love Harry’s the most. I love this song. I think that this should be the fan’s favorite song. I know that it’s mine. I like the boys when they sing slower songs, like this song. I think this song also touches the heart. It almost made me cry. It’s very good.”
10. Kiss You (Take Me Home, 2012)
“I never want to stop playing this song… when it comes on the radio I tell everyone around to be quiet so I can listen to it. It never gets tiring and I can always turn to this song when I have nothing else to listen to. Even ‘What Makes You Beautiful can get a little tiring and boring, but this song never does. LOVE IT!”
9. I Would (Take Me Home, 2012)
“Amazing song! The lyrics are just so sweet and the tune is very catchy! Never got tired listening to this rocking song… Very sweet, very cute, absolutely fantastic! Go One Direction!”
8. Little Things (Take Me Home, 2012)
“There need to be more songs like this. I can literally feel the emotion through their words and it’s just soothing and soft and melodious. Most of their songs have been the jumpy, dance-along kind of thing, but this one is a beautiful collaboration of slow, harmonious music that brings a smile upon my face. It reminds me that despite our imperfections, there is someone out there who still loves you.”
7. They Don’t Know About Us (Take Me Home, 2012)
“They don’t know about us is my favorite song ever and I wish it’d got more attention and had been a single from them. It sums up relationships. When you’re parents are telling you you’re not in love and you are. You’re just like “They Don’t Know About Us” I listen to it all the time and it just makes me smile. When I’m sad, or mad at my family I just love listening to it for some reason. It shows all of their voices, especially Zayn. I love all of them, and I love this song. The lyrics are spectacular. I played this song for my family and they didn’t know if was One Direction”

6. Night Changes (Four, 2014)
“They sang it so beautifully… I don’t know what’s in this song but it makes me feel something weird.. It’s certainly their best song… I hope it doesn’t remain underrated… listen to it guys!”
5. Story of My Life (Midnight Memories, 2013)
“The first song that I loved from them, it always makes me cry. The lyrics are amazing and their vocals are on point. I just think that Harry should exercise to not strain his voice in performances because his vocals are already amazing and I don’t want him to damage his throat. This song reminds me of so much memories, it is so nostalgic”
4. Live While We’re Young (Take Me Home, 2012)
“When this song came out, it was catchy and fun, and I was thrilled to have a One Direction song like this. But now that they have matured so much, it just seems very fake. It wasn’t about the boys’ real experiences and it was clearly inauthentic. Now that the band has started writing their own songs and singing about real things happening to them, it is easy to see how manufactured this type of boy and pop is.”
3. One Thing (Up All Night, 2011)
“This song is really energizing, you’ll never get tired of it. It just fills you with joy and it’s catchy, urban and current. It also features hot spots n London like Big Ben and the double decker bus shows where they come from and it’s fun for them and the audience. The start of the video is also really cool, them being them. Overall it’s ONE THING to look and listen to.”
2. Best Song Ever (Midnight Memories, 2013)
“I love this song since it’s so diverse of the singers and everyone has a part in this song. I don’t like it when people only think of one direction as Harry Styles and Zayn Malik. I mean there are other members too. Liam is hot, have you ever thought of that. In my opinion he is way more hotter than Harry or Zayn. Also Niall looks so cute. He’s like the baby of the band. I mean he has no tattoos when everyone else does. His blonde hair is the best part. And Louis is amazing and he has an amazing voice. He is like multi talented with the voice, his dance ability, and just hot looks. “
1. What Makes You Beautiful (Up All Night, 2011)
“My most favorite song! This song just gets me happy and crazy! It actually makes me feel beautiful when someone tells me I’m not! Us tens get let down by such boys who think they are to hot well I say not because we are all beautiful in our own ways and one direction helps by giving this message!”
