10. (I’ll Give You) Money

“Such a good mellow album. The songs are pretty much mid-tempo and just flow together. The music, the playing, everything is just natural and doesn’t try too hard. The lyrics are also great and I can relate to many of them.”

9. Apple of Your Eye

“I’m not surprised about this work. Peter Frampton’s songs and guitar’s melodies was always surprising! And the line up was at the same music quality level that this musician need.”

8. Nowhere’s Too Far (For My Baby)

“Frampton uses a lot of guitar textures on the songs, both acoustic and electric. He was and still is an excellent guitar player and songwriter. At times, his lyrics can be a bit off the path with odd couplets like “nerve … submerge.” “

“At times his lyrics are almost surreal in their imagery. But you get the message. And the arrangements are wonderfully melodic. There really is not a clinker on the album.”

6. Show Me the Way

“A classic, a record which holds up over many, many repeated listenings. One thing that will strike you is how crisp the recording is from the mid-70’s. Frampton’s songwriting, guitar playing and voice were all peaking at this point in time.”

5. Day’s Dawning

“Several tunes here didn’t become big hits until “Frampton Comes Alive” came out, but I much prefer this studio record. Overall it has a sparse acoustic sound to it that goes well in either the morning or evening.”

4. One More Time

“This is mostly a soft and gentle rock album but, the end of the last song many would consider it hard rock but the rest of this album is light rock considerably I love this album it’s got some fascinating songs on it “

3. Fanfare

“This was the fuse that set off the dynamite called “Frampton Comes Alive”. This CD gives you the studio versions of those huge, steamrollered versions on “Comes Alive”. I don’t think Frampton had an idea that he would be sent into space by his next effort.”

2. Nassau – Baby, I Love Your Way

“It can be argued that the huge success of “Comes Alive” arrested Pete’s development, but in truth he didn’t ever really have the voice or the panache to carry off the whole guitar hero thing, But if you’re looking for some pleasant pop-rock, with unchallenging lyrics, good harmonies and proficient playing, this is a pretty good meeting point.”

1. Penny for Your Thoughts

“Penny For Your Thoughts” is a fabulous showcase of Frampton’s guitar work. A record unfairly overshadowed by its in-concert successor, FRAMPTON is however as enjoyable to listen to as it sounds like it was to make.”
