Playback is a South Korean girl group formed by Clear Company in 2015. They debuted on June 25, 2015, with the digital single “Playback”. As of August 2021, Playback only has two members under the label: Yunji and Eunjin. According to the group’s website however, Yunji, Yujin, Woolim and Eunjin are still members of the group. Playback released their self-titled debut single album Playback and its title track of the same name on June 25, 2015. Just three months later, the group announced they planned to release a new single album on September 2. The album’s title track, “I Wonder”, featured well-known singer and host Eric Nam. The song garnered attention from media due to the involvement of popular Norwegian production team ELEMENT, whose resume includes CeeLo Green, Musiq Soulchild, and Madcon. 2. Want You To Say (Want You To Say, 2017)

“The chorus could stand to be a little more developed, but the girls’ vocals layer gorgeously and give the song needed heft. The one-two punch of understated rap and slow-burn build during the bridge is another treat. Ultimately, Want You To Say will not rewrite the book for k-pop or Playback themselves, but it’s a solid enough release to build upon with more interesting material in the future.”
