PowerSolo join forces with Nive Nielsen on defiant new single ‘Leave Me Alone’
Danish garage-rock provocateurs PowerSolo return with another gloriously unpredictable release, joining forces with Greenlandic singer-songwriter Nive Nielsen on their striking new single ‘Leave Me Alone’.
Serving as the third preview of their forthcoming album Rip It!, the collaboration finds the band channelling their irreverent musical personality into a song with a distinctly political undercurrent.
Reflecting the troubled relationship between Denmark and Greenland, ‘Leave Me Alone’ brings two contrasting musical perspectives together, using the duet format to explore tensions that extend far beyond the recording studio.
The release arrives amid renewed political discussions surrounding Greenland, Denmark and the United States, giving the track an especially timely resonance.
Rip It! arrives October 23 via Crunchy Frog Recordings, promising another exhilarating chapter in PowerSolo’s brilliantly unpredictable musical journey.
