10. Fade Away
“Another Solid album that continues in the same vein as the previous effort. Bluesy rock sound with some remarkable vocals. Surprisingly the ballads are the standout tracks”
9. Do Right by Your Woman
“Just the fact that Bad Company existed and sounded as good as they did should’ve been enough but on top of that they created albums that rivaled anything else at the time and after. Their first two releases are pretty much bullet proof and with this album they let everyone know they weren’t going away anytime soon.”
8. Silver, Blue & Gold
“This Bad Company album, though not with the top 40 hits of their self titled debut record and Straight Shooter, may be the band’s most consistent effort. Fantastic rock vocals by Paul Rodgers, clever riffs by Ralphs and the super group stability of Burrell’s bass and Simon Kirke’s drums make songs like Youngblood and the classic Silver, Blue and Gold really sing.”

7. Love Me Somebody
“The record slows down for Love Me Somebody. It’s kind of a jazzy track that is not a standout. They have similar, better songs on other albums. This sounds like a desperate plea for some stranger to love him. Probably should have left this track off the record.”
6. Simple Man
“Simple Man” is a simple song with simple yet good message. The lyrics will be true for alot of blue collar workers in America. Another moving performance by Rogers, but this one is downtempo and meditative in comparison.”
5. Live for the Music
“The record starts with a bang. You cant help but dance in your chair when you hear Live for the Music. It’s just a rockin tune. Melodic tunes that you’ll be humming long after you hear them.”

4. Honey Child
“I do have to say, however, that I love ‘Honey Child’, which approaches a kind of urgent, menacing mood unlike any older Bad Company rockers. Maybe it’s that vaguely disco drumbeat and bassline…?!”
3. Run With the Pack
“The title track isn’t so much as a ballad as a moody melodramatic Bad Company rocker with piano (whatever all that means), but it’s one of their most well-written songs, with that wonderful chorus and, of course, the outro, one of their best moments”
2. Young Blood
“For the first single Bad Company recorded a version of The Coasters track ‘Young Blood’ which personally I don’t like at all although it did manage to get to #20 in the US singles chart. Almost comedic in places it does not sit well for me amongst the rest of the album and maybe it would have been better released as a non album single or something.”
1. Sweet Lil’ Sister
“For years I have meaning to pick this album up on CD (I had the original on vinyl), mainly because it contains ‘Sweet Lil Sister’ – a blistering and soulful performance by Paul Rogers. I was not disappointed. That song is the best mover on the album, and certainly better than most anything else he recorded with this band.”
