Sham Family return with the wavy new single ‘Modern Myth’

After the shining response to their much-loved self-titled debut EP in 2022, Toronto-based outfit Sham Family are now back on the grind once again to deliver their wavy new single ‘Modern Myth’.

Exploring more of those rich and dynamic post-punk aesthetics they first emerged with, ‘Modern Myth’ makes for a rousing return to form for the four-piece. With its bold and ferocious energy, soaring atmosphere, and mesmerising hooks layered throughout, they are returning to the fold with one of their most impactful efforts yet.

Speaking about the new release, they said, “‘Modern Myth’ takes on our society’s obsession with creating and recreating stories rather than truths. From National Enquirer alien babies to modern election interference, we have been consistently at odds trying to figure out what we actually know versus which fictions we’ve swallowed whole.”
