12. Summit (Triple Vinyl Box Set, 2012)

“This song is the very essence of nostalgia. Every single bit of it reminds me of 8th grade, which personally was the greatest year for me and my friends. After having left that middle school I moved and didn’t see most of them ever again, so this song brings me so much comfort every time I think about the crazy shenanigans we would do, and all the fun we had. Great song, to put it ever so lightly.”

8. Cinema (Cinema 2010)

“You may think that all Skrillex’s songs are all pure dubstep but in this song that’s not the case. He a puts in a great song that goes with his drops and the tone is perfect. It has a soothing song by Gary Go and it is a famous song and I am glad he chose this song over millions of songs to base for.”

7. Reptile’s Theme (Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors 2011)

“If you have massive speakers in your house than you should put this song on full blast and watch the speakers. You will be blown away. (literally)”

6. Kyoto (Triple Vinyl Box Set, 2012)

“The drums kick perfectly into my ears with this music. It builds up really nicely from the beginning to the drop with a cool starting melody with the guitar chords. The drop itself is devastating and also very catchy. What I also like in this piece is the melody after the first drop, nice sound effects. Sirah just totally finishes as an explosion with a good ending following it. All these factors make me like this song the most. “

5. Rock ‘N’ Roll (Will Take You to the Mountain) (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, 2010)

“The bass wobbles in the second drop mix together perfectly, the second drop is perfect BPM, the random vocal chops of him during the drops are amazing so basically to sum it up, one of the best Skrillex song ever.”

4. Kill Everybody (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites 2010)

“Skrillex has done a very fine job perfecting this song, as TONS of people love it. I simply cannot believe how breathtaking and stunning this song is! The beat is very catchy, and the rhythm matches to the beat perfectly! This song is the best!”

3. First of the Year (Equinox) (Triple Vinyl Box Set 2012)

“The song begins with a serene tone. As the anticipation builds, the tension rises, and just when you think the cravings for those wicked Skrillex beats may go unsatisfied, an explosive, shrill voice signals the release of the sickest beats you’ve ever heard. You may even find yourself reaching for your phone ready to dial for help.”

2. Bangarang (Bangarang, 2011)

1. Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, 2010)

“This song has an amazing mix of synths, includes a perfect drop, and is a really great Skrillex song. I think a lot of people are getting kind of sick of it since it’s been around for awhile, which I understand. The first time I heard it I loved it but now not as much. It’s still a great song though, and I hope Skrillex keeps making songs with this high quality!”
