Spice Girls Albums Ranked
The Spice Girls are an English pop girl group formed in 1994. The group comprises Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B (“Scary Spice”), Melanie Chisholm, Mel C (“Sporty Spice”), Emma Bunton (“Baby Spice”), Geri Halliwell (“Ginger Spice”) and Victoria Beckham (“Posh Spice”). In 1996, Top of the Pops magazine gave each member of the group aliases, which were adopted by the group and media. With their “girl power” mantra, the Spice Girls were pop culture icons of the 1990s. Time called them “arguably the most recognizable face” of Cool Britannia, the mid-1990s celebration of youth culture in the UK. They are cited as part of the Second British Invasion of the US. The Spice Girls have sold 85 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling girl group of all time, one of the best-selling artists, and the biggest British pop success since the Beatles. The group has received a number of awards including five Brit Awards, three American Music Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, and three World Music Awards. Here are all of the Spice Girls albums ranked.

4. Forever (2000)
“”Forever” was one of pop music’s most embarrassing catastrophes in 2000. This record didn’t simply flop; it flopped so spectacularly that it nearly disbanded the group. That’s a shame because “Forever” is really a good record. After doing bad imitations of r&b and hip-hop on their first two records, the Spices hooked up with Rodney Jerkins and Jam & Lewis for the real thing. The results are truly their best work. “Holler” is a pulsating, aggressive stomper that should have made a splash on the r&b charts but didn’t, while Jam and Lewis give the Girls a more “mature” sound with the downright funky “If You Wanna Have Some Fun.”
3. Greatest Hits (2007)
“The Spice Girls were the force that brought unadulterated pop back into the mainstream. No matter what you think of them, they made some great music. This hits collection has all of their hits, including “Wannabe,” “Say You’ll Be There,” “2 Become 1,” “Spice Up Your Life,” “Too Much” and more. There are two new songs, the single “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)” and the funky “Voodoo.” A great trip down memory lane with Scary, Baby, Posh, Sporty, and Ginger Spice!”

2. Spiceworld (1997)
“”Spiceworld” takes off on a euphoric trip through the archetypal pop formats– Motown, disco, even showtunes–to create a global groove for the dancing masses of teens, tweens, kids and adults who all fell under the spell of these fiercely independent pop princesses. “Spice Up Your Life” swirls with carnaval percussion and a wriggling, jungle-inspired beat; its an Oasis-like wall of sound built out of Latin rhythms and the patented Spice hooks.”
1. Spice (1996)
“The Spice Girls sang like there was no tomorrow, like cheerleaders, nonetheless, the way they sang actually part of a bigger and better package–their whole persons. The world came to embrace 5 loud, quirky and sexy girls into their ears (and hearts) with their brand of devilish pop that’s cleverly written and constructed. Even though they sang about silly stuff, they actually were the only ones who got away with it because in each song lies messages of empowerment. They sang with passion and flamboyance.”
