Stepping On Lego closes in on clarity with long-awaited second album ‘Wide Eyes’

Irish alt-pop producer and songwriter Stepping On Lego (aka Conor Waters) releases his long-awaited second album ‘Wide Eyes’, a record that trades digital disconnection for emotional clarity. Out now on all major platforms, the album is a raw and reflective journey through self-doubt, sensitivity, and learning to embrace your own wiring.

Spanning eight tracks, including recent singles ‘Teen in the Eighties’, ‘Nightshade’, ‘Mindless Chatter’ and ‘Imposter’, ‘Wide Eyes’ fuses retro-futuristic textures with razor-sharp lyricism. It’s a record built on contrast: widescreen soundscapes meet diaristic intimacy, brooding synths meet glimmers of hope.

Collaborations with Ellen O’Meara and Rachel Walsh, as well as a haunting cover of ‘My Body Is a Cage’ by Arcade Fire, add further dimension to the project, but at its core, ‘Wide Eyes’ is Waters’ most personal and cohesive work to date.
