Stoned Statues strike back with ferocious new single ‘Knock Knock’

Tampere trio Stoned Statues return with ‘Knock Knock’, a blistering preview of their upcoming album Nothing Is Ever Over.

Direct and unrelenting, the track wastes no time locking into a tight, volatile groove; all jagged riffs and coiled aggression. There’s a political edge running through it, but it’s grounded in anger as a means of clarity. The band channel that tension into a sound that feels both controlled and ready to snap.

Drawing comparisons to the restless energy of System of a Down, ‘Knock Knock’ still pushes beyond easy reference points, weaving melody into its heavier framework without losing impact.

Written during a period away from touring, the band leaned into experimentation for their third record, working with producers Janne Joutsenniemi and Miitri Aaltonen.
