Take Flight deliver new single ‘Beachy Head(ache)’
British post-hardcore outfit Take Flight return with their most emotionally raw single yet, ‘Beachy Head(ache)’. Blending emo hooks, post-hardcore riffs, and dual vocals from Mike and Zander, the track explores themes of mental health, grief, and resilience with haunting clarity.
Produced by Oz Craggs (Neck Deep, Mallory Knox), it opens with moody guitars and builds to a cathartic, anthemic climax. Inspired by personal battles and years in the making, Zander first shared the song’s lyrics on First Dates in 2020, now reimagined as a powerful modern emo anthem.
“It’s our most personal and biggest track yet,” says Zander.
‘Beachy Head(ache)’ follows their acclaimed EPs Grey. and A Modern Allegory of the Cave, cementing Take Flight’s reputation as one of the UK’s most honest and intense new voices in alternative rock.
