The Bad Actors channel late-night introspection on new single ‘Offside Clarity’
Funk-rock duo The Bad Actors return with ‘Offside Clarity’, a brooding, late-night anthem built for solitary drives and flickering dashboard lights. Known across Sheffield as “the men in orange,” the pair have carved out a unique lane with their swaggering blend of funk, rock, and indie edge, drawing early cosigns from BBC6 Music’s Huey Morgan and securing support slots on his May ’25 tour.
While their previous material leaned into groove and bravado, ‘Offside Clarity’ reveals a more introspective side, blending haunting guitars and tight rhythms in a style reminiscent of Bloc Party and Foo Fighters. The track is the second cut from their upcoming debut EP ‘Act Your Age’, and its cinematic mood offers a stark contrast to the duo’s viral onstage energy.
With Tramlines, Y Not Festival, and a growing social media storm, The Bad Actors are poised to paint 2025 orange.
