The Penske File roar back with new single ‘Lions’

Hamilton punk trio The Penske File mark their return with ‘Lions’, the fiery first single from their forthcoming album ‘Reprieve’, out October 3rd, 2025 via Stomp Records. Equal parts urgent and uplifting, the track sees the band lean into a raw, collective energy while reflecting on life’s inevitable shifts.

Written by drummer/vocalist Alexander Standen during a quiet morning moment, ‘Lions’ captures the tension between youth and maturity, set against a backdrop of tight instrumentation and anthemic hooks.

With producer Adam Michael behind the desk, the band recorded live-off-the-floor to preserve the immediacy of the song’s first breath. ‘Lions’ is a celebration of change, resilience, and holding onto fire as the world shifts beneath your feet.
