The track builds on the momentum of ‘Where Do You Run To?’, which dominated New Zealand rock radio, but trades urgency for something more controlled and simmering. Driven by a steady, prowling bassline, ‘Hollow Hour’ unfolds with a quiet tension before erupting into a jagged, guitar-heavy chorus.

There are shades of Cage The Elephant and Arctic Monkeys in the DNA, but the band’s identity cuts through in the details, such as the uneasy pacing, the sharp dynamic shifts, and a vocal delivery that holds back just enough to let the instrumentation do the damage.
