6. Sunsets & Full Moons (2019)

“This album is what makes The Script not good but GREAT and if they take anything from the fans response to this album its that we hope they stay true to themselves — because THIS is what they are really about and we appreciate they’re gifts more than probably words can say. Sunsets very well may be the bands best album and that’s saying something for a group that has Science and Faith in their catalog— but even if its not, it’s definitely up there and a welcome and much needed return to form for a group that is one of the most underrated acts of this era and one we NEED in music today.”

5. Freedom Child (2017)

“The Script is back with another winner in their 5th Album ‘Freedom Child’ This may be their deepest album to this day. Tacking so many social issues through song in such a heartfelt and beautiful manor. I was quite surprised that this album didn’t get much recognition here in the U.S. because across the pond it was all the rave. Maybe it’s due to the fact that the general taste in music has gotten so horrible you can’t hear a great piece of music unless you go to the deepest corners of the internet. It is a shame when great albums like these are not even recognized. Check this album out I promise you will not be disappointed.”

4. No Sound Without Silence (2014)

“The Script just keeps getting better and better. The entire album is amazing. I particularly love Man on A Wire, Flares and Army of Angels. Danny, Mark and Glen continue to stay grounded to their Irish roots and sound ultimately creating music that is relatable and memorable.”

3. #3 (2012)

“Their third album, #3, is amazing. So much so that I bought the delux version just to get “Hurricanes”. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live this past fall and if I wasn’t hooked before, I certainly was following the concert. They sound exactly the same live as they do on their albums…a true sign of real talent…not this manufactured crap that is all over pop radio these days. If you liked either of their two previous albums, you’ll love #3!!! The Script is nearly all I listen to these days…so much so that I think my husband is getting sick of them. Favorite tracks from #3 are probably, “If You Could See Me Now” and “Millionaires”, although truly, I love them all.”

2. Science & Faith (2010)

“This album has uplifting songs about falling in and out of love. For sure this is my favorite album by them. The Script is the most creative and inspiring band I have ever listened to. I hope every album they create will stay this way. Too many modern bands and songs create a deja vu vibe like Ive heard it before or the lyrics are shallow with no depth. The Script has always written songs with depth and created so many good songs that they really mean to sing about. They also sound so real while they still create a catchy impression in their music.”

1. The Script (2008)

“But nonetheless, all ten tracks on The Script are distinct and memorable. But the highlights off the record are the first two singles off the record “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven” which contain lyrics and choruses that may be hard to forget. In addition to the “hits,” for this listener, other tracks have their moments and undeniable influence, “Rusty Halo” is a melodic cross between Sting and The Police or U2 that possibly could have been one of their songs off any one of their 1980s albums, especially with lead vocalist Donny O’Donogue’s uncanny vocal resemblance and the rock and reggae concluding chorus.”
