10. Mary Jane (Highly Evolved, 2002)

“I don’t really know what this song means, but somehow it makes a lot of sense to me. I like this song a lot its so mellow and it does get stuck in my head. But I don’t mind.”

9. In the Jungle (Highly Evolved, 2002)

“I think that line kinda means she felt what he was going through she felt like hell because he did, But this song is one of the best i love it when the guitar and bass drop and the drums still hang on and hes screaming in the jungle, that part kicks so much ass, i love these guys.”

8. Scream (Melodia, 2008)

“I can’t put into words all the things I love about this album, all the things it makes me feel and think. I just know that I enjoy it and it’s one of my favorites. I am so glad the Vines are still around, that Craig is still around, and he’s still creating something great for the world to hear.”

7. Ride (Winning Days, 2004)

“When I first heard “Ride” I enjoyed it quite a lot, but as time grew on as did I it just lost it’s touch. “Ride” is a good song from the vines, nothing special just like most of their other songs. “Ride” is a great high-energy rock track. “

6. Homesick (Highly Evolved, 2002)

“I love the shift in the tune from one part of the song to another. The first verse transitions very nicely to the “Nothin’s gonna save you” part, which then transitions into “I can see…” which is easily one of the best moments on the album.”

5. Vision Valley (Vision Valley, 2006)

“I knew Craig’s voice was wonderful, but hearing this makes his mind and voice so much more magic and beautiful than I originally thought. The music in this makes me want to weep, it’s so filled with heart and…this is just indescribable. I wish I could rediscover it.”

4. Don’t Go (Outtathaway, 2002)

“This song just radiates energy and awesomeness in a way i cant describe. It makes me want to just go crazy and smash stuff, its hard to believe its 20 years old and a super underrated band.”

3. Outtathaway (Highly Evolved, 2002)

“This has a nice clean riff to it and, as for many songs on this album, the lead singer having doubled up vocals on the track, or backing singers. This song has a grungy/garage band sound at times.”

2. 1969 (Highly Evolved, 2002)

“Highly Evolved was a great debut. It had the hits, but also some great softer moments, great ability for melody and subtlety. Its still their best to date, showcases how they can blend heavy material with a gentler side to let through a nice balance.”

1. Get Free (Highly Evolved, 2002)

“Exists in my head as the absolute middle ground of early 2000s radio rock, between the buttheaded post-grunge that was on its way out and the trendier garage rock that was replacing it, with a sorta brit-poppy bridge thrown in just for fun.”
