The Wayward Arms confront the weight of the past on powerful new single ‘Stormy’

California alt-rock outfit The Wayward Arms have unveiled their latest single ‘Stormy’, a guitar-driven release exploring the struggle to move beyond past experiences and take control of the future.

Hailing from Ventura, the band combine cinematic songwriting with emotionally charged melodies and the raw energy of contemporary alternative rock.

Featuring some of their heaviest guitar work to date, ‘Stormy’ balances driving rhythms and melodic hooks with an introspective message about personal growth, resilience and breaking free from the influence of the past.

Drawing inspiration from artists including Death Cab for Cutie, The Menzingers, Alkaline Trio, Beck and Queens of the Stone Age, The Wayward Arms bring together atmospheric indie-rock influences and a more urgent, guitar-led sound.
