10. 35 Biggest Hits (2015)

“35 Biggest Hits by Tim McGraw contains among some of the best and heartwarming country songs from Tim McGraw’s career such as It’s Your Love (feat. Faith Hill which fortunately is also one of my husband’s fave songs from Tim Mcgraw that reminds him of me), Just To See You Smile, I Like it I Love It, For A Little While, My Best Friend and more hits. I enjoy the romantic and uplifting vibes from many of these songs.”

9. Tim McGraw And The Dancehall Doctors (2002)

“Love all the songs, they are sort of laid back, easy listening. The fiddle playing and piano are super! Good job by Dean Brown and Jeff McMahon. Tim does a cover of an Elton John song, Tiny Dancer, which surprised me – country singer doing Elton John? But Tim pulls it off, it sounds great.”

8. Emotional Traffic (2012)

“”Emotional Traffic” is short and sweet. It has twelve songs that are 3-4 minutes along. Almost all of the songs are excellent or quite good. Country isn’t the only style of music found on this album. There are touches of rock and even R&B on this album. As with McGraw’s previous albums, there are both upbeat, fun songs and emotional ballads.”

7. Set This Circus Down (2001)

“From the opening cut, “The Cowboy In Me,” Tim challenges the listener to think and to feel. In “The Cowboy In Me,” Tim looks at the less appealing side of every person — the impulsive and self-centered side. In “Telluride,” he looks at love lost — not with the angst of so many a country song, but with fond memories. “Angel Boy” explores our fears that we’ve fallen so far from grace that we may never be redeemed. The title track explores our weariness with the complicated lives we lead and the desire to leave all that complexity and stress behind. In “Angry All The Time,” Tim (along with wife Faith Hill) describe the death of a marriage and “Why We Said Goodbye” describes the yearning to repair a broken relationship.”

6. A Place In The Sun (1999)

“My favorite track here (My next thirty years) finds Tim hoping to do various things in the future but you know that maybe he’s not too serious – we all know how easy to put things off and only end up doing some of them. The title track is typical of the album – reflective and mellow. You might think that the title suggests an upbeat, fun song, but here the place in the sun is something that Tim wishes and hopes for. Another great song is the opening track, The trouble with never – another great song that everybody can relate to. Other great songs include Something like that, My best friend, Seventeen, Eyes of a woman and She’ll have you back.”

5. All I Want (1995)

“Tim’s voice, a sort of cross between John Anderson and Kenny Rogers, may not appeal to everybody (whether set to contemporary or traditional backing) but I love it. There are many wonderful songs, both ballads and up-tempo. The most instantly memorable song her is the catchy, upbeat song, I like it I love it, while other great songs include All I want is a life and She never lets it get to her heart. Other highlights include I didn’t ask and she didn’t say, The great divide and Don’t mention Memphis”

4. Let It Go (2007)

“The entire album sounds like nothing else on country radio today; with incredibly creative arrangements that adds incredible depth to every track and much tighter “studio chemistry” among the Dancehall Doctors, Let It Go grabs the listener from the first track and holds you to the final one.”

3. Not A Moment Too Soon (1994)

“Not A Moment Too Soon is a great album by Tim McGraw. It was back when mullets were rockin’ and when it was cool to wear a cowboy hat in country music. This is from when Tim was beginning and started off as a traditional country singer that slowly went in another direction. His earlier stuff is more country than he is now. This may be one of his last great albums.”

2. Live Like You Were Dying (2004)

“There is such lightness and hope for goodness coming out of his voice and these songs and they can add so much to our lives. Here is someone who is not afraid to damage his perfect tough stand by opening his heart to all of us. Every one of Tim’s albums has different songs on them as well, of a more rock’n’roll country flare, and if you really don’t like such mood, you could listen to the songs I picked out, because these are mostly ballads and emotional jewels of his: My Old Friend, My Little Girl, One Of These Days, I Need You, It’s Your Love, Please Remember Me, Live Like You Were Dying, All We Ever Find, My Best Friend, I’m Working, We Carry On, A Place In The Sun, You Just Get Better All The Time, Take Me Away From Here, You Don’t Love Me Anymore, The Great Divide, Nothing To Die For, Forget About Us, She’s My Kind Of Rain.”

1. Everywhere (1997)

“The album is both fun and sentimental. On songs like Where The Green Grass Grows, Aint That The Way It Always Ends, Hard On The Ticker and You Turn Me On all show this fun side of Tim, one that makes you want to sing and dance along with the cd. Then another side is the sentimental side, on songs like Its Your Love, I Do But I Dont, One Of These Days, Everywhere and Just To See You Smile.”
