10. Hope On The Rocks (2012)

“This album takes some time to grow on you, but is a great listen. Hope on the Rocks is a fantastic song made even better by watching the music video. Not sure the deluxe is worth it. You get a few extra songs that are live/remix versions of some of his previous songs. But they pretty entertaining especially Get Out of My Car. All in all, a must have for any Toby Keith fan.”

9. Clancy’s Tavern (2011)

“There is not one bad song here, although I must say that the backing music during the chorus’s of “Made in America”, tends to drown out Toby’s voice, & could have been rendered better. Having said that though, Clancy’s Tavern” is one of the best kick-ass country albums in years, and the title track just has to be an instant classic – one you can replay time & time again, just for the sheer pleasure of it. I could say good things about each track, but that would take up a lot of space here, & the bottom line is that they’re all great.”

.8. Bullets In The Gun (2010)

“This album grabs you by the nuts with the first song and then has you laughing by the third with in the trailerhood. Great roadhouse music and a wonderful way to spend some time with the incognito bandito.”

7. Toby Keith (1993)

“All the best songs are on here, like “Wish I didn’t know” I definitely recommend this cd and all of his others. His voice and talent are totally his own. No one can compare to him, and this cd proves it. It started with this one and its only gotten better.”

6. That Don’t Make Me A Bad Guy (2008)

“Excellent album highly energetic and beautiful ballads.the best songs are the title track, god love her Creole woman. A nice combination of upbeat songs and ballads that all tell a story, that’s true to the Toby style. But if u enjoy Toby Keith you will enjoy this. This album ranks up there with shock n y’all.”

5. Big Dog Daddy (2007)

“I think Big Dog Daddy is a platypus because no matter what you enjoy Toby put a little something together on this CD for you to relate to and enjoy and maybe make you smile. Toby touches all the bases including some signature hard hitting rowdy songs and some ballads that bounce between love and nostalgia. You might not get all of what you want but your going to get some of what you want – Toby touches all the bases and creates a cd that probably represents his fan base – diverse, concise, with a little humor, a little romance and a lot of rowdy.”

4. American Ride (2009)

“The title song starts of by laying it on the line. As an American, I’m tired of the “flood coming across the Mexican border” and getting busted for “singing Christmas Carols.” Toby tells it like it is and I’m tired of apologizing for living in the greatest country on earth. I work hard to support my family and am proud of them.”

3. Shock’n Y’all (2003)

” The songs are definitely unique so if you weren’t privy to the preview, listen with an open mind. We all know “I love this Bar” so it doesn’t need an introduction but the others….. “Taliban” gave me a different prospective on the War. An “American Soldier” pays tribute to our fighting men as only a song can do. “If I was Jesus” has to speak for it’s self. How he mixed blasphemy with heavenly praise and got away with it is beyond me but the God fearing woman in me was not offended. No Toby Keith CD is complete without at least one or two that make you want to crank up the volume and put the pedal to the medal.”

2. How Do You Like Me Now?! (1999)

“From top to bottom, this album reeks with attitude. Seems to say what the listener has wanted to say but sometimes has a hard time saying it. “When Love Fades” is in the same mold of “We Were in Love” which brought his vocals up a notch. “Blue Bedroom” is a very new style for Toby that works very well – very catchy, grows on you. “You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This” and “Heart to Heart” are ballads presented with a unique musical arrangement, similar to “We Were In Love” that have very effective hooks and descriptive identifiable lyrics. Anyone who’s had a close relationship with their mother can identify with “Heart to Heart”. How do I like Toby now?”

1. Unleashed (2002)

“There are terrific songs on this CD, including the controversial “The Angry American – Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” which is an extremely powerful song that I think Keith skillfully reminds people, who are not and may never be ready to forget the thousands of people lost in NYC, PA and VA – that there is resolve not only to come to terms with what happened on September 11, but also, that there is a profound resolve to do the things so that it will not happen again. A recommend buy if for nothing other than “The Angry American” but also for the other 11 great songs.”
