8. Reborn (2013)

“From start to finish a great album full of great songs although the bonus acoustic versions do little for me. Highlights from the album are Bring it, Experience, Love Hate Relationship, Eye of the Storm, Going Under, and the bonus ballad Avelyn. Let me honest though most songs on here deserve at least 7/10 or higher rating.”

7. No Apologies (2010)

“This is a fantastic album by my favorite band, Trapt. In my opinion, this is Trapt doing what they do best, which is to create hard hitting rock songs. These songs are all catchy, well written, and addictive. If anyone is looking for one of the best albums of the year, look no further than “No Apologies.” You will have no regrets.”

6. DNA (2016)

“Hands down the best rock album of 2016. Its got a Great New Sound, and over all a solid album. If you love Trapt sound or have never heard of this album you will love this album regardless. Great Lyrics, Sound, and 16 Tracks of solid ear porn.”

5. Amalgamation (1999)

“The debut independent release by Trapt, released in June 1999 and sold only in the Los Gatos, California area. The album was a local success, selling over 900 copies by the end of 1999. This album sports a drastically different sound compared to later releases, with vocalist Chris Taylor Brown rapping in every song, with later releases not containing rapping at all.”

4. Only Through The Pain (2008)

“Only Through the Pain came out in 2008, and now it’s 2010, and I’m still listening to it. If your a fan of Trapt, I advise you to buy it. The best songs are “Wasteland, WGHWYT, Contagious, Black Rose, and Only One in Color,” (at least they’re the best in my opinion) but I like every song. The album had to grow on me because it’s different from their previous albums, but that has turned out to be great.”

3. Someone In Control (2005)

“This album explores different ratios and expels heavy, yet melodic guitars with soft and edgy vocals for the harder songs and gives the band a more mature, musically inclined sound. With the title “Someone in Control”, this album proves who’s in control. At this point after only listening to the album every single day for the past week in my cd-player, I’ve learned a lot… This cd will not be taken out and changed with something else for a while. “

2. Shadow Work (2020)

“Shadow Work is a fantastic album, with a great blend of their signature harder rock and softer soul ballads. Trapt keeps to their fairly simple but powerful lyrics that resonate with me on a personal level. This album is more along the lines of their earlier ‘Only through the pain’ than their harder albums, which I really enjoyed as well”

1. Trapt (2002)

“Trapt is dark and very much typical, only in their attitude (which is angry). But they don’t sing about a deadbeat dad or anything that seems to get a little tiresome when some band’s rely on their lives over and over for songs. Trapt sings about rebellion and pushing through life, despite what others say. They sing about growing up and the confusion and responsibility that comes with it. Trapt sings about things that aren’t spoken of enough: being you.”
