8. All Our Tomorrows

“Joe Cocker was back! As a new fan at the time, this album really rocked. The vocals were great, the music was sound, and everything meshed well. This seemed to be the last serious Cocker release before the cover tunes started.”

7. Rivers Rising

“Strangely enough, for me he is always at his best when interpreting other people’s songs. Over the years it’s his cover versions of well known songs that resonate with me. After all, who can argue that his version of “A Little Help With My Friends” is not better than the Beatles?”

6. Two Wrongs

“Any classic song given the “Cocker” treatment is indeed doubly blessed. Unfortunately for this album only the title track falls into this catergory. Still a decent album though, but a few more of those “specials” would have made the world of difference.”

5. The One

“Great Cocker… I need not say more. Joe Cocker has been and always will be a great inspiration to anyone who listens to the heart and soul only Mr.Cocker can introduce. This music is a mellow part of Joe’s life that we all can relate too. Enjoy!”

4. A Woman Loves a Man

“I’m a fan of Joe Cocker, but not always of his music which I find is usually over produced. Strangely unique this album finds Joe accompaninied by minimalist forces, letting his voice convey a haunting beauty that is all too often absent in other albums. I cannot understand why this album does not sell in greater quantities.”

3. Isolation

“Joe Cocker does not get as much great press as he should. His singing is powerful and not just from the heart, not just from his guts, but from every pore of his body.”

2. I Stand in Wonder

“Joe Cocker at his best, while known for his gruff, boozy voice, he really shines with aa softer, sweeter side. Every cd takes a little getting used to, so pick your favorite songs, if you like Joe you can’t miss.”

1. Unchain My Heart

“The cover song, Unchain My Heart, is worth the price of the album all by itself. Songs sung with passion and that great Joe Cocker voice. This CD is not necessarily a must for cocker fans. But there are some very nice songs (Unchained my Heart) on it, in which he could shine again.”
