Wine Lips unleash their energetic new single ‘Stimulation’
Having already turned out a wealth of rich and riveting releases these last few months, Canadian outfit Wine Lips are looking to keep the vibes high once again as they deliver their energetic new single ‘Stimulation’.
Lifted from their newly-released studio album ‘Super Mega Ultra’ and accompanied by a brilliant new video, ‘Stimulation’ sees them bring back more of that bold and lively garage-rock aesthetic they are known for. Jam-packed with killer riffs and an explosive atmosphere throughout, this one will have you pumping your fists from start to finish.
Speaking of ‘Stimulation’, vocalist and guitarist Cam Hilborn said, “This is one of my favourite tracks on the record. We’ve been playing it live for over a year now and it always seems to get the crowd moving. Despite not being released yet people sing along because it has a simple chorus!
“I started writing Stimulation during our break in 2020. I was stuck on the verse for a while, I think I was having a hard time finding a melody that worked with the guitar riff. I might have put it on the shelf for a bit but one day the chorus just poured out of me and the rest of the song started to make more sense and came more naturally. It was the first song I demoed for the new record and kind of became the benchmark.”
