He primarily produces and performs electro house music, but has diversified his genre and musical style, drawing influences from progressive house, dubstep, and classical music. In 2012, he released “Clarity” (featuring Foxes), which propelled him to mainstream success, reaching the 8th position on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning him a Grammy for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards.[11] Later in 2012, he released his debut studio album Clarity, with the hit single “Stay the Night” (featuring Hayley Williams) appearing on the 2013 deluxe edition of the album. In 2015, his second studio album True Colors was released, supported by its lead single “I Want You to Know” featuring Selena Gomez. Subsequent well-known songs include “Stay” with Alessia Cara, peaking at number 7, “The Middle” with Maren Morris and Grey, and, as a featured artist, “Break Free” with Ariana Grande, peaking at number 4 in the US. “Best song ever! I mean, who could someone dislike this amazing song? this guy and woman are both talented and her voice is absolutely amazing in this song! 11. True Colors (True Colors, 2015)

“True Colors is more laid back, and while it seems to be aiming for something, it never goes anywhere compelling. It’s not hard to see that Zedd switched out the singer for a later release, as the singer uncredited here (Tim James) doesn’t really carry the track.”

10. Addicted to a Memory (True Colors, 2015)

“The intro is just the beginning, this is a fitting intro for the True Colors album as it transcends into an electro masterpiece, with sharp beats and the third drop with an epic complex to makeup, this is one of the best examples of Zedd’s classic electronic style and will forever be a fan favorite.”

9. Done With Love (True Colors, 2015)

“Could listen to it on repeat for hours, in all honesty. Such a beautiful song. Definitely the best. Has a great drop, and has unexpected elements.
