Zeds Dead is a Canadian electronic music duo from Toronto, Canada composed of Dylan Mamid, also known as DC, and Zachary Rapp-Rovan, also known as Hooks, who rose to prominence releasing original music and remixes from 2009–10 before becoming a staple on the international touring circuit thereafter. Today, they are known for their exploration of a diverse variety of genres that combine aspects of UK garage, house, electro house, hip-hop, glitch, drum and bass, and more. Mamid and Rapp-Rovan were born and raised in Toronto, Canada. The duo was introduced through mutual friends in 2004 when DC asked Hooks to paint a graffiti mural in his garage. They quickly discovered a mutual love for hip-hop and at the same time, we’re both starting to produce music. They began to collaborate under the moniker ‘Mass Productions’. The duo’s name comes from a line in the Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction. Here are all of Zeds Dead’s songs ranked.

10. Collapse (Somewhere Else, 2014)
“Everything about this song is amazing. The bass drop is killer, but not too muddy. Get this on HQ and I guarantee you will have an eargasm. This song by far has the most amazing bass drop and it’s absolutely breathtaking.”
9. Stars Tonight (We Are Deadbeats (Vol. 4), 2020)
“This song is incredibly addicting. One of the first Zeds Dead songs I’ve ever listened to; and I’ve listened to a lot of Zeds Dead songs and different dubstep. This song is catchy, chilling, creepy, and will give you the feeling of wanting to look over your shoulder when it’s done!”
8. Where The Wild Things Are (Where The Wild Things Are, 2017)
“This is the best song by them. It is different from other songs. The more you listen the more you wanted to listen. You cannot forget this song once you listen.
7. Frontlines (Northern Lights, 2016)
“This song is so amazing it makes me feel so energetic. I love it when the power of the song just rises in the melody. Once again. Zeds Dead is a legend.”

6. GodLovesUgly (GodLovesUgly, 2020)
“Never could have imagined such a beast of a collab. Mind is blown. You can hear each artists influence perfectly, and it mixes into something beautiful.”
5. Save My Grave (We Are Deadbeats (Vol. 4), 2020)
“The art is so cool with the character that’s just leaking energy and is just floating in a creepy background awesome job. This music is so epic and those drops are it’s so cold to see people working together to make a masterpiece”
4. Late night drive (Catching Z’s, 2021)
“Words can’t describe the feelings people get from music, at least I can’t. But this is the zeds dead ‘genre’ I like soo much. I listened to dubstep way often back, but now it’s the main rap. But there’s an exception, you guys. This is a unique song in a sea of billions probably that will ever get made. Looking forward to the whole album very very eagerly.”

3. I think you’re cool (Catching Z’s, 2021)
“This is my favorite song out of them all it’s just so… Like it has a very good vibe and it makes you want to just drop it low and rock to the rhythm if that makes any sense… But anyways I love this song”
2. Eyes on Fire (Life of a Ghost, 2007)
“In retrospect, this song has been around for so long that it’s probably been heard by people that are no longer with us, but this is almost like I’m right there with them, just close my eyes and I’m a kid again at the skatepark trying to make it anyway i could. This shit is pure motivation in the best way.. I’m forever grateful.”
1. Neck And Neck (Northern Lights, 2016)
“This is a great song that has an amazing amount of variation in electronic instruments. It puts a new face on dubstep. Zeds Dead outdid themselves and melody is flawless with a great bass drop that is the real sign of what techno should be.”
