zeronic announce new album ‘Modernism’ alongside reflective single ‘A String of Luck’

Austrian alternative trio zeronic continue their long-awaited return with the announcement of their new album Modernism, arriving on 2 October, alongside the release of its latest single, ‘A String of Luck’.

Following the band’s recent comeback with ‘The Hope and the Enemy’, the new track offers another glimpse into an album that examines the contradictions of contemporary life. Built around a driving post-punk pulse and memorable hooks, ‘A String of Luck’ reflects on the quiet optimism shared by communities waiting for change, balancing uncertainty with the hope that something better lies just around the corner.

While the single captures the band’s melodic strengths, Modernism promises a broader and more ambitious statement. Written over the course of a year from an initial collection of more than two dozen songs, the ten-track record explores themes of connection, belonging, progress and isolation, pairing emotionally direct songwriting with guitar-driven arrangements and expansive production inspired by the likes of Talking Heads, The Cure and David Bowie.
