Zeroz embrace chaos and catharsis on new single ‘The Dumbest Song Name Possible’

After a whirlwind year touring Japan and the UK, anime-inspired noise-rockers Zeroz return with their explosive new single ‘The Dumbest Song Name Possible’, the first preview of their forthcoming third album ‘The Dumbest Timeline’, due in January.

Living up to its title, the single is a furious, distortion-soaked blast of controlled chaos; packed with pounding backbeats, snarling riffs, and the band’s signature flair for hypercharged drama. Drawing from their Anime obsessions and a commitment to going left when others go right, the track mixes tongue-in-cheek nihilism with an undercurrent of defiance.

Speaking about the track, frontman Z explains, “The Dumbest Song Name Possible certainly festers in anger and catchy nihilism; but it also reminds me of some of my favourite heroes like Ryuko Matoi and Subaru Natsuki, who lose again and again and still refuse to give up their fight. I think there is something nice about that.”

Currently working on a range of projects including music videos, a custom mobile app, and 2026 tours across Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., Zeroz are a band that refuse to sit still or colour inside the lines. If ‘The Dumbest Song Name Possible’ is any indication, ‘The Dumbest Timeline’ will be anything but predictable.
