10. Secret Dreams
“A very melodic track. A bit slow again, but it’s a top song to end the album with. Dated Keyboard sounds also manage to spoil some good tunes throughout…Secret Dreams especially grates!”
9. To the Fire
“The main riff of this song sounds like something from an army movie. An enjoyable listen, the tribal beat of “To The Fire” though is an interesting departure from the template rhythm used on most of the album although David Bryan’s keyboards now sound tired and dated”
8. Always Run to You
“Always Run To You has some decent Tico drumming and a riff that sounds stolen. Sambora is such a shoddy player at this point in time. He would grow with a different set of circumstances. “

7. The Hardest Part Is the Night
“The Hardest Part Is The Night” is another highlight, again heavy in melody and keyboard an catchy as can be. Listen to passionate “oooooh’s” by John as the song fades while the melody continues.”
6. Tokyo Road
“It has a really irratating intro, but once the song breaks out it’s really an enjoyable listen. Sounds very much like something from “Slippery when wet”. Another rocking track.”
5. Silent Night
“Probably the slowest song on the album, but it’s very peaceful. Powerful and beautiful. ‘Silent Night’ is a nice gentler side of this records. It has a great ballad, probably one of the best BJ did.”

4. King of the Mountain
“This is quite a fast, catchy song, but at times it sounds a bit like rap. But it’s still fun. “King Of The Mountain” rocks, and was just too good played live! It isn’t a fast song, but it makes up for it in attitude.”
3. The Price of Love
“The Price of Love” though is mercifully more developed but still comes on like an aural assault led by Tico Torres’ kick-drum. his starts off slow, but then it turns into another rocking track. This one does tend to get boring after a few listens.”
2. In and Out of Love
“In And Out of Love” is a perfect opener for a Bon Jovi album, it’s heavy and it’s easy to sing along with and sets the tone nicely. The song deserves all the praises it gets; actually it’s the only song from this album that still gets some kind of recognition.”
1. Only Lonely
“For me the best song on 7800 Fahrenheit is “Only Lonely”, a surprisingly dark and highly melodic song. The song is marked by lyrics of sadness, features an intense breakdown that is actually the best part of the song and the strong accompanying keyboard work their full effect here.”
