Adam Jensen returns with raw and powerful new single ‘Cellophane’
After a nine-month absence from releasing music, Adam Jensen reemerges with ‘Cellophane’, the first glimpse of his forthcoming debut full-length album Hymns for the Damned.
Marking a significant creative shift, the track showcases a more stripped-back and organic approach than much of Jensen’s previous work. Written, recorded, and produced entirely by the artist himself, the album was crafted in his garage using live instrumentation throughout, embracing the imperfections and intensity that come from capturing performances in their most natural form.
‘Cellophane’ explores the weight of personal history and the way past experiences can continue to shape the future long after we believe we have moved on. Driven by towering guitars, thunderous percussion, and a gritty, unpolished energy, the song channels frustration, reflection, and resilience into a cathartic alternative rock statement.
As the opening chapter of Hymns for the Damned, ‘Cellophane’ signals an artist entering a bold new phase, defined by honesty, intensity, and complete creative independence.
