5. iTunes Live From SoHo (2009)

“Her music speaks to you no matter what mood you are in…but I assure you, if you are feeling down, blue, depressed….listen to Adele. It will change your perspective and lift you up and get you through your slumps.”

4. Live At The Royal Albert Hall (2011)

“This was absolutely spectacular! She tells stories about her music and her life and drops some swear words in but that’s part of what makes her real. It’s captivating to watch her sing. You can clearly see her channel the energy from beyond our realm as she sings. Her music is simple, raw, emotional and truthful. The 100 minutes blazes by on this disc. Adele has that sultry voice and even does scat singing. “

3. 19 (2008)

“This may be the only album Adele will ever have where she writes songs single-handedly, and I love the stripped-down style. Best for Last and Hometown Glory have still yet to be overshadowed by her other work, in my opinion (except Someone Like You).”

2. 25 (2015)

“Adele’s voice is very soulful, especially on this album. I don’t care too much for the lyrics but Adele’s voice, which is so much like some of the best opera sopranos, simply cuddles my soul and heart. Her voice is so wonderfully powerful, even though she sings about having her heart broken (which is on the mend; a broken heart never heals completely) that I feel more alive when I hear her sings — her voice is very mature and polished, like many great opera sopranos.”

1. 21 (2011)

“Adele reaches into your soul. This is the first artist that has touched me this deeply. I feel every song reaching deep into my soul. Some songs bring me to tears. I recently went through a divorce and Adel speaks my heart in so many songs. Then add her beautiful voice and the power behind it as she is pouring out the pain and you have a hit.”
