10. One Heart (2003)

“This album has a bit of everything from the dance song “I drove all night” to the fantastic lyrics of the soft ballad “Have you ever been in love” which is a song from the “A new day” album that was added exactly one year after. There’s another song from “A new day has come”, the song is “Sorry for love” which was one of my favorites in the named 2002 album. This time that track has changed from being a dance song to a pop one. Both versions are very good. “One heart” is a very easy album to hear, has twists and the rhythms are delightful as well as the lyrics.”

9. Unison (1990)

“The album “Unison” marked the beginning for Celine Dion’s carrer in the United States, and many other countries around the world. If you are a fan of Dion’s work, and haven’t heard the album, you will definitely be in for a treat. “Unison” shows a very different, and upbeat side of Dion. Many of the highlights of the album include the songs: “Where Does My Heart Beat Now,” “If We Could Start Over,” “The Last To Know,” “Unison,” “I Feel Too Much,” and “(If There Was) Any Other Way.” Each of these songs, and the others show a completely different side of Dion than what the “average” fan might expect. In the song “I Feel Too Much,” Dion works together with computer synthisizers and a piece of rock-n-roll stylistics to create a fast-paced song that will bring back memories of your very first crush.”

8. Incognito (1987)

“”Incognito” is, for me, is the pinnacle of Céline as a young woman—sexy, confident, and flirtatious, without belting out showstopping lovesick ballads. You can really hear how much her voice has matured from when she first began recording in 1981, or even from her previous album C’est Pour Toi (1985), with clear indicators of her future diva status. She is just experiencing her first taste of love and all the possibilities that await her.”

7. All The Way… A Decade Of Song (1999)

“Celine Dion has an amazing voice. Every song on this CD can touch the heart and soul. There are several cuts on the CD that I just love. They are love songs that you can relate to, as far as loving your man. Celine Dion is truly gifted with a beautiful voice and songs that can move mountains. I am a fan of her music. I bought several of her CD’s and would highly recommend them to any person that like love songs.”

6. D’elles (2007)

“It’s beautiful music once again, and it kinda shows Celine trying different themes, and growing as a singer. Although she is always in control of her voice, she sounds like she sings with much more freedom and less restraint, less direction. She’s interpreting what she feels through the different female song writers, and it seems no one is telling her how to sing the songs, she’s going with her feelings. I think Celine has always wanted to be free with her music, and D’Elles seems to be her step towards that.”

5. The Colour Of My Love (1993)

“What makes Celine Dion’s CD “The Color of My Love” so unique is the fact that it solidified her as a pop superstar. Having released two previous english albums that sold very well, Dion released this gem in 1993 to both critical and commercial acclaim. The album sold six million copies alone in the United States eventually selling 20 million copies worldwide making Celine a household name. The disc features three #1 songs, “The Power of My Love”, “Think Twice”, and “To Love You More”, as well as the theme to the Meg Ryan film “Sleepless In Seattle”, “When I Fall In Love”. Dion’s vocals are at their zenith and the song selection is impeccable, ranging from pure vocal tracks to upbeat dance numbers that will walk on your mind after listening to them.”

4. D’eux (1995)

“This album has songs that are beautifully written and beautifully executed. Jean-Jacques is a musical genius. These songs simply cannot be translated and still retain the clever play on words and the depth of emotions evoked that they do in French. Celine is able to vary the feel of each song from the gradual crescendo of feeling in Ballet to the faster rhythmic beat of Destin.”

3. Let’s Talk About Love (1997)

“This album has so many striking songs. The Love theme from Titanic really strikes a nerve in me, and i can listen to it again and again, and my heart pumping in the same rhythm as the song. Celine Dion really strikes a nerve in those of us who are not totally among the hipsters league and always looks for new trends. Better keep it simple.”

2. A New Day Has Come (2002)

“The first single “A New Day Has Come” is a beautiful declaration of freedom. It appears in both a remixed version (which you hear on radio) and the original album version which is a more ballad like song with a more simple element to the song. The album opens with the liberating I’m Alive. Right In Front of You is a sure fire hit if released as a single, a song about finding love that was there all along, very catchy song and Celine sounds just wonderful on this song. The uptempo song When The Wrong One Loves You Right is brilliant, definately a potential single, probably the catchiest song on here, it will stay in your head all day and have you singing along.”

1. Falling Into You (1996)

“‘Falling Into You’ is, without a doubt, Celine’s best work to date. The lyrics are timeless, the melodies are classic, and her voice is superb. I am not lying when I say this is my absolute favourite album to date. Because I’ve owned in since its 1996 release, I know every bit of every song off by heart, and I could never even imagine not owning this CD. The thing which Celine takes the most hits for is the fact that she doesn’t write her own songs. I do hold a certain respect for musicians who are able to both sing and write, or at least give an effort into the writing process. True, Celine doesn’t write, but she has one of the most amazing voices of our time, and the songwriters who contributed to ‘Falling Into You’ are amazingly talented. Coupled together, that’s what makes this album a masterpiece.”
