10. Class Plague (Class Plague, 2015)

“I have always had a problem with Anti-Flag’s lyrics. Their hearts have always been in the right place, with them being a left-wing, almost exclusively political band. I’ll admit that Anti-Flag and I occupy roughly the same wing politically – but their songs always feel so hollow to me.”

9. American Attraction (American Fall, 2017)

“Musically this album follows the same steps that we’ve seen Anti-Flag take in recent years. It’s very anthemic, very polished, and draws more than a few comparisons to early Rancid, mid-career Greenday, or any band that was on Hellcat in the early-2000’s”

8. Rotten Future (Die for the Government, 1996)

“I really can’t help but get “you gotta die you gotta die you gotta die for your government, die for your country and shit” stuck in my head rather a lot these days, especially when I turn on the news. It makes me angry (in a good way)!!”

7. Cities Burn (For Blood and Empire, 2006)

For Blood And Empire represented Anti-Flag’s introduction to the record company big leagues and, inevitably, was greeted with dismay and cries of sellout by long-term fans. It’s a stance which has always left me baffled. Yes, an anti-corporate, anti-government manifesto plays well to the hardcore underground scene and is consistent with the tried and tested path of youthful anarchic rebellion but, eventually, preaching to the converted must seem increasingly pointless.”

6. Red, White and Brainwashed (17 Song Demo, 1992)

“I love the last line in this song- “If you don’t fight to make things better then you’re the one betraying the country”. there are a lot of people who need to realize that if you’re trying to change something it means you care about it, and silence does nothing to help.”

5. 1 Trillion Dollar$ (For Blood and Empire, 2006)

“Anti-Flag has officially parted from any rugged and raw punk rock sound with this release. I like a few tracks a lot, I like most of the tracks, and a few tracks aren’t very good. It’s worth a listen. Most younger punks who haven’t acquired an ear for harder punk and hardcore will like this.”

4. Turncoat (The Terror State, 2003)

“Turncoat and Death of a Nation are very very good and deserving of being played by Anti-flag. The rest of the album will stay on cd and probably wont get busted out during live performances.”

3. 911 for Peace (Mobilize, 2002)

“This song is incredible. anti-flag does an awesome job getting the point across of how people are so jaded and that all this fighting and killing needs to stop. Stand up for america. 911 for Peace!! I love anti-flag and if you do as well, you need to hear this song.”

2. This is the End (For You My Friend) (For Blood and Empire, 2006)

“This is a great song. It’s catchy but its got a good meaning too. I agree with everthing said so far. About how it’s about ads on tv and in magazines making everyone lose their self confidence because they don’t feel they meet up to the standards.”

1. The Press Corpse (For Blood and Empire, 2006)

“This song is not only great fun, but the lyrics are a biting testament to the failings of the press to rise above crass commercialization and do the job of questioning the government – not to please the rating or one party or political view, but because the press is the last voice of true democracy. I love it alternative rock with a stinging point of view. Maybe the young generation will rise back up and sieze the future.”
