7. Phantom Anthem (2017)

“There is a distinctiveness and an immediacy infused within the framework of this album that compels us to repeated (and rewarded) playing. Each song has a palpable, supernal-like energy that propels it into the path of a gravitational wave of transcending music, as we ourselves become part of this immersive experience. We are drawn in by the bands elucidating insights and riveting musicality!”

6. Thrill Seeker (2005)

“This is a great release by august burns red! Very heavy and powerful music. In this genre tho, its pretty tough to make each song sound different than the other. But this band does a good job of that.”

5. Found In Far Away Places (2015)

“This album keeps ABR’s signature breakdowns, riffs and retains both their heaviness and melodic tendencies, topping what they have done in the past. While “Constellations” is my favorite album and that might not change, “Found in Far Away Places” could very well be the best album in their storied discography.”

4. Messengers (2007)

“This album was made without regard as to the “safety-first” modality. It is a dangerous and unrelenting coalescence of speed and power that has, at its very core, an intellectual underpinning with proportional value. And now…”Wave HELLO to the past.”…..”WE WILL SURVIVE!”…”

3. Leveler (2011)

“”Leveler” is more technical, entailing more breakdowns and more technical guitar work from JB Brubaker. This album also sees a change in Jake Luhrs (lead singer), in the sense that his vocals are paced, his growls are more distinctive (a little more than they have been in the past), and his delivery is on target on every song. The best way to describe “Leveler” is amazing.”

2.Rescue And Restore (2013)

“The album “Rescue & Restore” is incredible and I would say, much better than their last two albums “Leveler” & “Constellations”. There are elements of both albums in this new one but done much better. You can tell that this album was better thought out and organized.”

1. Constellations (2009)

“This is the album where they really stepped it up it set the foundation for what they are today. This album really displays their songwriting ability and showed them starting to experiment a little bit. But just a little because it is still heavy as hell with some of the best breakdowns you will ever hear. The drumming is flawless.”
