7. Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord (2006)

“This music is so exciting. It’s such a rush, because it’s full of intense emotion. This music is not repetitive at all, it’s just full of surprises. Music is poetry, not all poems sound pleasant to every one. But if you can relate to it, that’s the best feeling in the world. The Devil Wears Prada gives me so much joy, to me it’s uplifting and it always makes me giggle.”

6. Transit Blues (2016)

“Great album. It opens with “Praise Poison” which is a very fast and heavy song and ties with “Daughter” for my favorite off the album. I also really enjoy “To The Key Of Evergreen” as it has about 2 or 3 minutes of relaxing ambient type sound to it. I didn’t really agree with the concept of “Lock and Load” but it was still a pretty well constructed song.”

5. Plagues (2007)

“The range between the screaming vox is pretty nice, and the singing is catchy, but not over-used like in their newest album,”With Roots Above…”. But, the sound quality is phenomenal. Any extreme metal heads probably won’t like this album too much, but if you’re really into hardcore, and metalcore stuff, I highly recommend this one.”

4. The Act (2019)

“he band does a great job of developing their sound from their newer albums and their past in order to create The Act. Truly TDWP at their best. Usually there’s always 1 or 2 really good songs in a album for just about any artist and the rest are meh, not here, sit back and relax as this whole album is on point with every song.”

3. Dead Throne (2011)

“This album was quite a refreshment. This album is so meaty, that it feels like someone put a steak on my face. In other words, it’s very brutal, chuggy, and adrenaline pumping. I love the choruses that are lightly sprinkled through the album. Very comforting. Track 11 “Constance” is really great. To me at least.”

2. With Roots Above And Branches Below (2009)

“The melody presented in this album really meshes together well with the heaviness, unlike any other album out there. I can listen to the album the whole way through without the urge to change songs. Don’t let the oddly named track titles stray you away from this purchase… This is a very serious and professional album, one of the best metalcore albums I’ve heard to date.”

1. 8:18 (2013)

“TDWP matures with every album and this is not exception. Each song has it’s own feel to it, and the lyrics are dark and deep. The first time I listened to a few song on the album, it was like being hit in the chest when I really listened for the lyrics. To me, it seems they’ve strayed from layering their songs with “Christian” lyrics but have still kept the spiritual aspect without it being in your face. All in all, 8:18 was wonderful to sit and listen to and I will certainly be listening to it years to come.”
