Back In Black Songs Ranked
Back in Black is the seventh studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC. It was released on 25 July 1980 by Albert Productions and Atlantic Records. It is the band’s first album to feature lead singer Brian Johnson, following the death of previous lead singer Bon Scott. After the commercial breakthrough of their 1979 album Highway to Hell, AC/DC was planning to record a follow-up, but in February 1980, Scott died from alcohol poisoning after a drinking binge. Instead of disbanding, they decided to continue on and recruited Johnson, who was previously vocalist for Geordie. The album also received positive critical reception during its initial release, and it has since been included on numerous lists of “greatest” albums. Since its original release, the album has been reissued and remastered multiple times, most recently for digital distribution. On 9 December 2019, it was certified 25x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Here are all of Back In Black songs ranked.

10. What Do You Do For Money Honey
“What Do You Do For Money Honey” is not nearly as memorable. But in no way does that mean it falls flat, either. Indeed, a sturdy, muscular bass line (which flows throughout) and a terrifically ripping, ascending and descending guitar solo make this one another keeper.”
9. Let Me Put My Love Into You
“Let Me Put My Love into You” is the epitome of the macho ballad. It’s probably the only love song that any man can appreciate.”
8. Have A Drink On Me
“This is another tribute to Bon, at least thats what I say. I know I am not AC/DC, but just listen to the lyrics, and you’ll see. Rockin’ track one of their best ever!”

7. Giving The Dog A Bone
“Well now, this is my second favorite AC/DC song, ( the first being Stiff Upper Lip ) this is straight up powerful RROCK ‘N’ ROLL! From the opening hit of the drum till the last note played, just plain awesome, I’m sure you’ll agree.”
6. Shake A Leg
“If you haven’t caught on by now, every song on this album is at very least a 10/10. This song is no different, great song here and another AC/DC classic. Good rock ‘n’ roll tune.
5. Rock And Roll Aint Noise Pollution
“I must admit something, I never really liked this song until, I heard it on a Nike commercial during the Super Bowl this year. Since that commercial it is one of my favorites. I can’t tell you why it just seems like a different song. It’s awesome!!”

4. You Shook Me All Night Long
“This is probably the most radio friendly song ever recorded by AC/DC. It is also one of their most popular for that reason i’m sure. This is a great song, but if you have heard it as many times as me it gets kinda boring, but awesome anyways!”
3. Shoot To Thrill
“Shoot to Thrill” is another big hit, and a faster high energy rocker. The chorus is just great, I like the one line “Too many women with too many pills”. The riffs are great too as well as Angus’s soloing.”
2. Hells Bells
“This is the quintessential opening track to this or any album. From the first toll of the bell to the last scream from Brian. Great song, and before you know it you’ll be screaming at the top of your lungs HELLS BELLS!!!”
1. Back In Black
“Right here is the most notable song on the whole album. This is AC/DC’s tribute to Bon Scott, and what a tribute it is. If you have never heard this song, before you play it, turn your stereo up as loud as you can and blow your head off!!! Well don’t do that, but enjoy it anyway you like, great track.”
