Bed Maker return with fierce new single ‘The Mark’

Washington, D.C. outfit Bed Maker return with ‘The Mark’, the powerful A-side of their new two-track single, released through Dischord Records.

Paired with B-side ‘What Boy Where’, the release finds the band turning observations of inequality and human neglect into urgent, uncompromising music. Both songs examine moments where people are denied fair treatment or simply fail to have their individual worth recognised, bringing a sharp social conscience to Bed Maker’s already formidable sound.

Formed in 2019, Bed Maker brings together vocalist Amanda MacKaye, bassist Arthur Noll, drummer Vin Novara and guitarist Jeff Barsky, whose collective histories stretch across numerous corners of the American underground.

After returning to live activity in 2022, the group have toured extensively across the Eastern and Midwestern US. With a second album already planned for recording in 2027, ‘The Mark’ captures a band pushing forward with sheer purpose.
