4. Black Veil Brides (2014)
“The album is beautifully crafted, my favorite songs would be faithless, devil in the mirror And last rites. The entire album is very very well put together the album art may kinda put you off for a minute thinking that it’s like a metal-core album or something but it’s actually rock with one metal-core song “stolen omen” there is a very good ballad on this album called walk away which shows off Jake Pitts guitar skills where it doesn’t have the wretched and divine feel or the violin and piano and makes up for it with rock ‘n roll riffs and heavy guitar solos.”
3. We Stitch These Wounds (2010)
“The album is a true testament to melodic guitar playing as it is filled with endless amount of melodic line guitar lines (guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx deserve congratulations) while also demonstrating thick rhythm parts and interesting riffs. In addition the rhythm section is solid: bass player Ashley Purdy is clearly a very experienced-in the particular genre- bass player, while drummer Sandra Alvaregna is far from the stereotypical female drummer making incredibly good use of double bass drums, while demonstrating a variety of rhythm patterns throughout the album.”

2. Set The World On Fire (2011)
“Set the World on Fire builds on their previous album, with way more production, soaring guitar solos and a nod to the 80’s power ballad, all without losing the hard-edged sincerity of their lyrics and a really addictive hook in all of their songs. Andy Sixx has a voice like velvet chocolate that draws you in and then draws blood! Like many bands with roots in the hard rock/screamo genre, BVB are evolving into into a true rock powerhouse, without sacrificing any of their fan appeal. Great guitar hooks from Ashley Purdy.”
1. Wretched And Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones (2013)
“The album starts with the introduction of ”Exordium” but truly begins with ”Bulletproof” a fast, hard driven song with a hearty and fierce chorus that sounds like a blend of the band’s last album, very effective. ”New Years Day” to me is not quite a let down but it just doesn’t really do anything for me. ”Wretched and the Divine” the title track is more adventurous but fails to excite me. Thing pick up from here. “Devils Choir” is one of the highlights of Wretched and Divine for me because it introduces orchestral instrumentation which makes the song go in an unanticipated direction that works surprisingly well, yet still rocks. Major thumbs up on this one. ”We Don’t Belong” is one of my most played songs so far; it’s uplifting, infectious, strong and ridiculously catchy.”
