10. King of Everything (This Is What I Do, 2013)

“An incredible voice and sound in his singing! WOW! Stands out like there´s no one like him. And what a great song, his voice carries such musicality that he could make any song sound SO good.”

9. The War Song (Waking Up with the House on Fire, 1984)

“The reason this song was given flack aside from after two years of constantly being in the press thus an inevitable backlash was due was becuz it was a song about WAR…a serious topic and unlike other songs of war, it was poppy and the lyrics brutally honest in their simplicity. I think it’s a really underrated song. And the lyrics in the verses are much deeper and thoughtful than the seemingly blithe chorus. Really good catchy song. Love the video.”

8. Church of the Poisoned Mind (Miss Me Blind: Greatest Hits Live!, 2011)

“I loved this band back in the 80s. Boy George and this band was incredible and vocalist, however props go that incredible woman and vocalist, Helen Terry! Helen Terry can sing her ass off! Does anyone know where she is today? Her vocal prowess is was amazing!”

7. Miss Me Blind (Colour by Numbers, 1983)

“I used and still love this song. The music was really nice and Boy George could sing his English butt off. Didn’t matter to me that he was androgynous. The music was all that mattered. And the music got us to dancing back in the early 80′”

6. Everything I Own (Sold, 1987)

“Several lead singers have begun their solo career with a number one single — Adam Ant, Gary Barlow and Midge Ure spring to mind (though fortunately they all spring out again). And so George decided to emulate 1970s one-hit wonder Ken Boothe by covering ‘Everything I Own’ and coming perilously close to being a one-hit wonder himself.”

5. I’ll Tumble 4 Ya (Kissing to Be Clever, 1982)

“One of the best things about this video is how comfortable George seems to feel being himself. He looks like he’s genuinely having a great time and it makes me happy.”

4. It’s a Miracle (Colour by Numbers, 1983)

“Now this is real music!  It certainly beats the hell out of all the pitiful crap that gets recorded nowadays!  Boy George is a legendary eighties pop music icon and he and his brilliant bandmates helped revolutionize the classic sound of that decade.  How I miss the eighties.”

3. Time (Clock Of The Heart) (Kissing to Be Clever, 1982)

“Just thinking about the wonderful music, memories, and fun makes me somewhat sad as I know I will never be able to re-live that magical time ever again. I love Culture Club along with all the other phenomenal 80s groups.”

2. Do You Really Want to Hurt Me (Kissing to Be Clever, 1982)

“This is one of the theme songs of the 1980’s even though we all had comments about Boy Georges sex orientation that were on the negative side…it was the 80’s and this man shook the foundations of our society. What a great time it was and kudos to this man for pushing those boundaries!”
