10. Curse My Name (Until I Feel Nothing, 2011)

“This is really a transition album for Carnifex. They started off as an extremely brutal deathcore band, and were very profficient at it . With this release they start to transition to the style that dominates their later work.”

9. Names Mean Nothing (Hell Chose Me, 2010)

“And its about how he had been hurt before and before he is gonna get hurt again he is gonna hurt someone else. And by saying your not so perfect your just fucking plastic. Means he was only in it for her loks and nothing else becasue names mean nothing.”

8. Where the Light Dies (Die Without Hope, 2014)

“And they indeed spent that time off wisely, because they came back and delivered another brutal deathcore/metal hybrid of face melting music that we’ve come to expect from them. They have evolved over the years to become more brutal and dark, it is good stuff for those who care to keep an open mind and explore all styles of extreme music.”

7. In Coalesce With Filth And Faith (The Diseased and the Poisoned, 2008)

“The music here is standard deathcore, it serves it’s purpose. “In Coalesce With Filth and Faith” is an awesome song but everything else is pretty standard. Pretty good album as a whole really.”

6. Die Without Hope (Die Without Hope, 2014)

“They have needed to put something like this album out for a while. In this genre it is hard to get album that ever song is different and worth listening to. I honestly think it is their best work.”

5. Collaborating Like Killers (Dead in My Arms, 2007)

“The Singer was clearly crossed by someone they trusted, he plots revenge in the worst way he can imagine, and he follows through ripping the victims foundation from underneath them this lyric is the one that most represents that ‘I’ll make you suffer alone. And make you think it was meant to be. I’ll rip apart your soul. And make you think it was meant to be.'”

4. Until I Feel Nothing (Until I Feel Nothing, 2011)

“This is the album where they really begin to incorporate some black metal influences into their sound. Their is not as much black metal in this one as say “Die Without Hope” or “Slow Death”, but you can definitely feel it in the atmosphere. Great album, a tad bit short, but it does not overstay its welcome. If you like blackened deathcore, black metal, or some other style of extreme metal, then pick this album up.”

3. Slit Wrist Savior (Dead in My Arms, 2007)

“This song is about a girl that a guy is going out with gets into self-mutilation and absorbs herself with this abuse and doesn’t think about the guys feelings. The guy is hurt by the girl’s choice and wishes he had never met her because of how selfish she is and hates her forever”

2. Hell Chose Me (Hell Chose Me, 2010)

“Hell Chose Me” rockets out of the starting gate with the ferocious title track, a ferocious, no holds barred attack, and a totally chaotic and frenzied free-for-all of instruments, including chunky riffing, and drum blasts which kick up dust and debris frenetically.”

1. Lie to My Face (Dead in My Arms, 2007)

“Mixing together death metal with elements of hard, grind, and metalcore might not exactly be a unique concept. But even still, the way Carnifex do it is somehow unique, or if not wholly original, than at least distinguishable form the hordes of “deathcore” imitators that have cropped up since the turn of the century.”
