Cheshire Cat Songs Ranked
Cheshire Cat is the debut studio album by American rock band Blink-182, released on February 17, 1995, by Cargo Music. The trio, composed of guitarist Tom DeLonge, bassist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Scott Raynor, formed in 1992 and recorded three demos that impressed the San Diego-based Cargo label. In addition, their reputation as an irreverent local live act at venues such as SOMA alerted the label, who was seeking to expand into different genres. Released during the breakthrough year for punk rock in California, the album brought the band great success in and outside of the San Diego skate punk scene. “M+M’s” and “Wasting Time” were released as singles to promote the album, and received popularity locally through radio play. Here are all of Cheshire Cat songs ranked.

10. Toast & Bananas
“Toast and Bananas. Yummy. And peanut better too. Yeah, bring it on. Sorry, but this song title makes me hungry every time I see it. Good song besides the tasty title.”
9. TV
“This is definitely a record for the punk rockers. Blink 182 sold many copies of this independently, and got signed to MCA records for making this disc. It is a high spirited punk rock experience, and pop fans will find it just as enjoyable. the metalheads and hard rockers might even like this, too.”
8. Does My Breath Smell?
“I absolutely love this album. This album is Blink 182 at it’s finest, great guitars, good drums, (not bad for Scott, as compared to Travis) and the vocals are “youthful” sounding. The vocals aren’t as good as Enema of the State or newer things but they aren’t bad either, and the lyrics are genuine Blink material (being funny stuff).”

7. Wasting Time
“Probably my favorite on this album (tied with “Ben Wah Balls”)! i like what the lyrics are about (really liking this girl, but not having the guts to ask her out, and you keep wondering if she thinks about you and stuff, or are you just wasting your time?). awesome chorus!”
6. Peggy Sue
“Why is this called Peggy Sue? I didn’t hear them say Peggy Sue. Anyway, I love the lyrics. This song calms me down when I get ticked at the world (which is basically 24/7).”
5. M+MS
“The guitars immediately hooked me, but the lyrics are romantic and hilarious at the same time. So, as you can tell, I love this cd, so buy it if you are a true punk fan. People who like Enema will probably not like this true masterpiece of pop-punk. Good listen, even for a hardcore fan.”

4. Strings
“This song is the reason I think Scott Raynor may have been a better drummer than Travis is. But then again, maybe I should shut up, cause Travis is darn good. Anyway, this is a great song.”
3. Cacophony
“My favorite track is Cacophony. It is a soulfoul (yes I am talking about Blink 182!), slower, awesome song. The lyrics are easily to relate to, especially for guys, and you can’t help but bob your head and sing along.”
2. Touchdown Boy
“This cd is a masterpiece and you cannot call yourself a true blink fan if you do not own this cd. This album is true punk, none of that watered down pop-punk crap. I would tell you what the best songs are, but they are all good!!!”
1. Carousel
“I hate to say it, but the first track of the album is almost a disappointment. for the simple reason that it’s not the original version of Carousel (featured on the album “Buddha”). there are some very minor changes, but i prefer the old version. however, the original version of Carousel is probably my all time favorite Blink song ever!
