Cinderella Songs Ranked
Cinderella was an American rock band formed in 1982 from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation. Cinderella initially had a heavy metal and glam metal sound before shifting into a more hard rock and blues rock-based sound. By the mid-1990s, the band’s popularity declined severely due to personal setbacks, break-ups, and changes in the music industry. After a brief hiatus, Cinderella reunited in 1996 and continued to perform live, but never released any studio material after their 1994 album Still Climbing. Here are all of Cinderella’s songs ranked.

15. Long Cold Winter (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“Excellent song, really shows Tom Keifer’s blues influence. But its more than just a blues song. What goes on behind it is incredible and hard to describe. So full of emotion. And Tom’s voice is amazing. So good I couldn’t stop shaking. Listen to understand.”
14. Talk is Cheap (Still Climbing, 1994)
“My favorite song off a very under rated album. You can feel the anger in this song and the lyrics are biting. Very catchy, full of attitude, straight out rocker.”
13. Take Me Back (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“With a lyric like “I was raised by my daddy’s hand, my mama taught me how to pray”, this one sticks in your head as a rocker that came from the heart!”
12. More Things Change (Heartbreak Station, 1990)
“This song is just fantastic. It’s so sassy, upbeat, and fun, from the lyrics to the overall sound. The catchy, blaring horns, the bluesy acoustic guitars, and Tom Keifer’s shrill, over-the-top vocal performance just make this song such a joy to listen to.”

11. Night Songs (Night Songs, 1986)
“Like all good songs, you know it’s coming when the first few notes are played. From the slow build in the beginning this song is a classic!”
10. Second Wind (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“This is a terrific album and it held my attention all the way through. Almost every single song on here is a complete Hard Rock Hit. Love the album and it might be their best effort, to me. Nice addition to the collection.”
9. Bad Seamstress Blues / Fallin Apart at the Seams (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“I love little word plays, and this title made me laugh when I first “really” read it- I’d heard the song before, but didn’t pay attention until about the third time. Classic.”
8. Shake Me (Night Songs, 1986)
“This song needs to be in the top ten, this song was the first Cinderella song I listened to and I love it! I heard it on the house of hair, great show…”
7. Shelter Me (Heartbreak Station, 1990)
“I’m really impressed that Cinderella took a risk with this song with the sax. It’s perfect for this song and an example of why Cinderella shouldn’t be lumped into the pile of average hair bands. I’m a big metal fan but also listen to R&B. Tom Keifer’s amazing vocals in this song, fronting a catchy, rock/blues/metal type rhythm, in my opinion makes this one of the most unique songs I’ve ever heard.
6. Somebody Save Me (Night Songs, 1986)
“CINDERELLA Somebody Save Me (1987 Japanese four track promo sample 12″ also including Nothin’ For Nothin’ & live versions of Shake Me & Galaxy Blues, complete with Japanese lyric insert, picture sleeve and obi-strip 15PP-64).”
5. Heartbreak Station (Heartbreak Station, 1990)
“As a teenager I grew up with the powerful tunes from cinderella. On one hand they could rock the room, and on the other hand they could sing the songs that could touch the heart. Thank you for all the Cinderella for being a part of my life”

4. Gypsy Road (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“Another collector’s edition single from the mighty Cinderella sees a 12” white vinyl disk housed in a lavish gatefold sleeve. The entire inner sleeve is devoted to a picture of the band in all their glory. Side One of the single shows off Gypsy Road and Second Wind, whist Side Two includes the classic Somebody Save Me (live) and In From The Outside (live). A very collectible limited edition piece indeed.”
3. Coming Home (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“This is a great song. It is so well written and features the range of Tom Keifer’s voice. Awesome melody and all around musicianship. A straight forward rocker with excellent guitar, vocals and song writing.”
2. Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone) (Long Cold Winter, 1988)
“I listened to this song along time ago, I liked it then, but I love it now. To me, it is one of the best songs ever written, by anybody. Before or since. It has a lot of power in its arrangements and lyrics. Brilliantly performed and a voice that can’t be duplicated by no one, Tom Kiefer is in a class that other singers could only wish for.”
1. Nobody’s Fool (Night Songs, 1986)
“This has a nice foreboding intro, overall dark atmosphere and some well-placed guitar ‘crashes’ now and then that makes this feel slightly more metal speaking relatively than most of the glam ballads. It doesn’t necessarily hit the spot better than a few of the more commercial feel-good ones for me having an OK tolerance for the genre but this is one I’d point to to say ‘not all of it was bad’.”
